The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that fans are still mourning the loss of Kristoff St. John (Neil Winters), who’ll be given a special tribute storyline this April. Kristoff’s death was certainly a blow to his family, friends, fellow cast members and soap viewers across the globe.
However, we have some good news to report. The beloved Y&R star’s dogs have found a brand-new home with someone who was quite close to him. Mia St. John is Kristoff’s ex-wife, and she’s been active on social media in the aftermath of his death. She wants to make sure Kristoff’s memory is kept alive, so she’s been retweeting Young and the Restless watchers’ stories as well as Kristoff’s old messages.
Mia also had an exciting message of her own. She revealed that she decided to keep Kristoff’s dogs, who have been missing him a great deal since his passing. Brando and Rocco now have a place to call home, so that’s great to hear. It’s important to find a solution for pets that are left behind after a loved one is gone.
Mia’s first tweet about the pups said, “Do you guys remember @kristoffstjohn1’s BFF Brando? Brando’s been really depressed and missing his daddy but he is surrounded by lots of love from the family and Rocco of course.” She followed it up with a second one, which featured a pic of Rocco and Brando watching TV with her.
“Well I took @kristoffstjohn1’s babies #Rocco & #Brando with ONE condition I told them, every night I only watch @CNN So they gave in,” Mia joked. It’s nice to find some levity in the midst of such a tragedy. Everyone who knew Kristoff talks about what a warm, fun-loving guy he was. He was obviously fighting a private battle, but he always tried to share his light with the world.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Neil’s upcoming exit story should bring heartbreaking scenes, but there’ll be moments of warmth, too. Neil’s family will remember the good times, so that’s something to cling to. As April approaches, there should be more details released about Y&R’s plans for Neil’s demise.
