The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will approach his relationship with Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) the way he always does. He’ll try to wow Lola with grand gestures and gifts, but how long will that strategy pay off? After all, it didn’t really work in the past.
Lola certainly liked some of the fun stunts Kyle pulled off for her, but he always had to make sure he didn’t spend too much or didn’t overdo it in anyway. After Summer Abbott (Hunter King) returned to town and started stirring the pot, Lola even complained about Kyle’s grand gestures. That led Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) to point out it was the only way Kyle could get Lola’s attention.
It’s true that Lola can get wrapped up in her own little world sometimes. We certainly don’t blame her for pursuing her dreams, but balance is important. Can she truly make time for Kyle? It’s great that Lola’s got this chef position at Society, but we can’t forget how she neglected Kyle while she was preparing for it.
The distance between them was a big part of why this Y&R relationship crumbled. Of course, Summer’s scheming played a huge role in “Kola’s” destruction as well, but it wasn’t all her fault. Kyle and Lola have always faced serious challenges. Those don’t seem to matter as much now since Lola and Kyle have been pining for each other, but what happens after the newness of their reunion fades?
Summer suggested that Kyle would get bored with Lola after she gave up her virginity. Could Summer be right about that? It’s possible since Kyle and Lola will run into the same old problems during May sweeps. The Young and the Restless spoilers say “Kola’s” first time may be wonderful, but familiar issues could lead to the typical distance in their romance.
Lola will be stuck at work most of the time, so Kyle may resort to those grand gestures he loves so much. Will Lola get fed up once again and feel like Kyle isn’t being supportive enough? Will she resent Kyle for demanding too much of her when her career has to come first right now?
Kyle doesn’t have to do anything grand for Summer. All he has to do is be himself. Summer could start to seem awfully appealing if things head south with Lola. That’s especially true since Summer will be working hard to win Kyle back!
