The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that it was a tale of two Adams when Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) current portrayer encountered a previous version. Y&R fans know Grossman debuted in the role earlier this year, and Justin Hartley played the role before him. Nevertheless, many viewers still remember Michael Muhney from his run as Adam, which lasted from June 2009 to January 2014.
Before Grossman was cast, Muhney had been open about his desire to secure another chance at Y&R. However, the show opted to go in another direction. Based on Muhney’s latest social media pics, there are no hard feelings. On Twitter, Muhney was eager to share a couple photos of himself along with Grossman and Sharon Case (Sharon Case). It was undoubtedly a real treat for “Shadam” fans!
In fact, Muhney even had some fun with a hashtag involving the pairing. He tweeted, “Wuuut? #Shadamadam” and added a crying laughing emoji. Of course, Case has remained friends with Muhney over the years – as evidence by pics like this one, which they both share from time to time.
As for Case and Grossman, they’ve been spotted looking lovey-dovey at fan events and have seemingly taken vacations together based on their social media pics. They don’t flaunt their couple status, but it’s safe to assume based on Case’s Twitter likes and all the content she posts. She has no problem liking the “Shark” hashtag that supporters of the real-life duo use in their shared photos.
Grossman and Case recently did a cute promo together as well. On The Young and the Restless’ Twitter account, many Y&R cast members have been answering holiday-related questions as part of a Christmas countdown. In the one Case and Grossman did together, they were asked about their most memorable childhood holiday traditions. Case was quick to insist making gingerbread houses was her favorite. Grossman noted that he always liked building snowmen and making snow angels. Aww!
As for this meeting of the Adams, it came about because Grossman, Case and Muhney were all on hand for a celebration. They attended the grand opening of Katherine Kelly Lang’s (Brooke Forrester on The Bold and the Beautiful) new Benheart store. It’s an artisanal leather accessories brand, and this was Lang’s first location in Beverly Hills.
