The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Monday, May 13, tease that the big day will finally arrive. Mark Grossman will make his long-awaited debut as the new Adam Newman. Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will apologize to Adam for gaping like she’s seen a ghost, but he’ll admit he expected it. Adam will note that got the exact same look when Victor Newman (Eric Braden) spotted him.
Sharon knows Adam has no memories according to Victor, but she’ll want to hear it from Adam himself. He’ll confirm that he can’t remember anything at all from before the explosion. That part of his life is completely gone, so he’ll insist he has no idea who Sharon is. However, Sharon will offer reassurance. She’ll be willing to help Adam get those memories back if he wants to try.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say they’ll have a deep conversation, which should stir up a lot of complex feelings for Sharon. Nevertheless, Sharon will hope to shove those feelings aside and focus on the task at hand. Adam saved her when she needed him, so Sharon will want to return the favor. She’ll do her best to jog Adam’s memory and give him back to his family.
Unfortunately, Sharon won’t make much progress. By the time their chat’s over, it seems Adam will have given up. He may think he should just stick to being “Spider” in Las Vegas. Sharon will join Victor as they prepare to fly back home, but Adam will change his mind at the last second. He’ll decide to catch that flight as well, so Adam will head back to Genoa City soon enough.
Meanwhile, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will prepare the rest of the Newman clan. Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) is already in the loop, but Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) still need to be told. Y&R spoilers say Nikki will spread the shocker, so maybe Abby and Victoria will learn the truth about Adam on Monday.
Across town, Mia Rosales (Noemi Gonzalez) will get checked out after her medical crisis. Thankfully, it doesn’t look like it’ll be anything serious. Later, Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) will believe this is the prime opportunity for a paternity test. Mia’s at the hospital and it’s safe to have the test by now, so what are they waiting for? They need to figure out which Rosales brother this baby belongs to!
