The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Monday, November 4, teases that Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) will speak with Simon Black (Jeffrey Vincent Parise) before finding Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan). She’ll mention the handsome guest was looking for Chelsea and won’t be leaving until his business is settled.
Chelsea will offer to let Abby buy her share of the Grand Phoenix, but Abby won’t think Chelsea’s serious. When Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) appears, he’ll assure Abby that Chelsea’s right where she wants to be. Talk will turn to the missed press conference, so Chelsea will claim she was busy putting out fires. She’ll think it’s best if she fades to the background of Nick’s campaign, but he’ll maintain that he can’t do this without her.
Back with Abby, she’ll spot Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) and note that Adrian Rosales (Jay Montalvo) checked out without paying. Rey will suggest he could cover the charges, but Abby won’t think that’s necessary. A reporter will arrive, so Abby will lead her over to interview Nick and Chelsea. Unfortunately, Chelsea will be pretty distracted as dangerous Simon lurks nearby.
Once Chelsea speaks to Simon alone, he’ll demand his money within 24 hours. Chelsea will plead for more time, so Simon will up it to 48 hours. That’ll give Chelsea a bigger window to work with, but she’ll still be in real trouble. Chelsea will call up Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) and hope he can assist her.
At Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Lola Abbott’s (Sasha Calle) place, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will show up to deliver news about Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson). The DNA test results confirm Theo is Dina Mergeron’s (Marla Adams) grandson. Kyle obviously won’t be happy about it, so he’ll snap at Jack. He’ll contend that Jack should just go find Theo and celebrate, but Lola will try to settle Kyle down.
Just before Jack exits, Kyle will insist his dad’s going to regret pursuing all this with Theo. Afterward, Lola will scold Kyle for being too hard on Jack. She’ll want Kyle to be more open-minded about Theo, who she feels is trying to better himself. Kyle won’t buy that, so Lola will grow angry with him for acting like she’s gullible. She’ll leave the room in a huff, but they’ll patch things up later.
Kyle will note that he loves Lola’s big heart, but he’ll want her to be careful. Lola will suggest there’s someone else Kyle needs to apologize to. That’ll send Kyle over to the Abbott mansion in hopes of fixing the mess with Jack.
In the meantime, The Young and the Restless spoilers say Theo will have a request for Jack. He’ll get that Dina won’t be able to give him details, but he’ll still want to meet his grandmother. Later, Jack will bring Dina to the house and introduce her to Theo. She’ll get choked up over the name “Vanderway” and ask if he’s Eric. Theo will go along with it and assure Dina that his parents love him very much.
Dina will hint at something she wishes she could’ve done, but she’ll ultimately get too tired to chat. As Theo leaves, he’ll listen to Jack reminding Dina that he’s her son. After Jack gets Dina settled in at her facility again, he’ll come home to an apologetic Kyle. However, Kyle still won’t trust Theo. He’ll get updates on Theo and Dina’s positive meeting, but it won’t do anything to ease Kyle’s mind. Jack will be adamant that Theo’s family now, so Kyle will have to accept it.
Back with Lola, she’ll get a visit from Rey and learn Adrian didn’t pay his hotel bill. She’ll be appalled and allude to not needing anything else to deal with. Lola will mention Kyle’s family issues, but she’ll hurry Rey along to meet up with Sharon Newman (Sharon Case).
Later, Y&R spoilers say Theo will pop in and get grilled about how he’s feeling. He’ll talk about feeling connected to Dina one minute and that connection being gone the next. Theo will admit he thought he knew who he was, but now he’s uncertain.
At Crimson Lights, Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) will notice Sharon got flowers from Rey. She’ll learn their date didn’t end until morning, so she’ll be glad things are back on track. Mariah will still have concerns about Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) though. She won’t get why Sharon would risk blowing things with Rey to help Connor Newman (Judah Mackey).
Sharon will offer reassurance before talk turns to Mariah’s surprise for Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks). She’ll tell Sharon she’s throwing a party to celebrate their one-year anniversary. Mariah will let Sharon know she’s invited before acknowledging that she’s in a healthy, long-term relationship. A little later, Rey will arrive and ask for another date with Sharon. She’ll push him to come as her plus one at Mariah’s bash.
On the patio, The Young and the Restless spoilers say Mariah will speak with Tessa over the phone. She’ll tell Tessa she’ll see her tonight before she starts texting invites.
