The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for Monday, September 30, tease that Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) will fill Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) in on Connor Newman’s (Judah Mackey) devastation. She’ll reveal that Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) leaving town, so Nick will suggest his brother’s running from what he did. They’ll debate whether Adam’s redeemable before Chelsea argues that Nick’s grieving and just needs time.
Nick will admit that’s not the case. When pressed, he’ll divulge that Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) still alive. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Nick will explain the plot to trap Adam, so Chelsea will naturally be furious. She’ll rant about Nick’s sick need for revenge and how the charade cost Connor his dad.
At the ranch, Victor will ask how Adam found out about his survival. Adam will dodge the question, so the conversation will shift to the med tampering. Victor will wonder if Adam intended to kill him. He was hoping Adam would find some humanity if they pulled off their plan.
Adam will be brought up to speed on his siblings’ role in all this. He’ll ask if they were also focused on his conscience or just wanted him behind bars. Talk will turn to Adam almost getting run down, which he’ll once again blame Victor for. Victor will continue to deny it, but he’ll confess that he doesn’t hate his son. He’ll feel like there’s still a way back for them if Adam will just stay in town.
Adam will write himself off as a lost cause who acts on his darkest impulses. He’ll feel like this whole thing has made him see who he really is. Adam won’t think he deserves to be there for Connor. He won’t think there’s anything left for him in Genoa City at this point. Adam will insist he couldn’t be who his dad wanted him to be. He’ll admit he wanted Victor’s respect perhaps even more than his love.
Both Adam and Victor will cry as Adam ultimately departs. Moments later, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will warn Victor that Michael Baldwin’s (Christian LeBlanc) arriving. At Crimson Lights, Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) will catch up with Cane Ashby (Daniel Goddard). They’ll discuss this will situation with Chance Chancellor and Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan), so Cane will decide to tag along for moral support.
At Devon Hamilton’s (Bryton James) penthouse, Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) will wish she could stick around for the meeting and be there for him. Devon will mention hiring Brittany Hodges (Lauren Woodland) as his attorney. Elena will think Amanda’s running a scam, but they’ll both hope it’ll all be over soon.
At Society, Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will confront Amanda about rattling people he cares about. He’ll be convinced someone had to know Amanda looked just like Hilary Hamilton (Mishael Morgan). Amanda will contend that she was hired because she was qualified, but Nate will remain suspicious.
Afterward, Amanda will call someone about the will paperwork she received. She’ll snap that she doesn’t like surprises. At Crimson Lights, Elena will talk to Nate about his earlier encounter with Amanda. She’ll hate that Devon’s been thrown back in turmoil, but Nate will hope things will wrap up after this meeting.
At Devon’s penthouse again, he’ll think this is reminiscent of when Neil Winters’ (Kristoff St. John) will was read. Devon will be upset, but he’ll get some kind words from Brittany before Amanda shows up. Y&R spoilers say Brittany and Amanda will face off, but Cane and Jill will be busy gawking over Amanda’s appearance. Jill will eventually take a jab or two at Amanda before the so-called real will is read.
Amanda will reveal that the bulk of Katherine Chancellor’s (Jeanne Cooper) fortune – $2 billion, $475 million – goes to Cane.
