The Young and the Restless spoilers tease that Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) has been getting an awful lot of warnings about Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) lately. After she stepped up to be Adam’s choice for Christian Newman’s (Jamie and Alister Tobias) guardian, it left a lot of people wondering exactly why she would do anything for Adam, considering everything he’s been up to lately.
Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) certainly wasn’t happy with Sharon’s decision to run when Adam called about being Christian’s guardian, and it was the last straw for him, as he walked out on Sharon. And Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) even took the time recently to warn Sharon about Adam. But soon, Sharon will have a run-in with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), who will blast Sharon for taking Adam’s side in the custody matter.
Of course, Sharon will probably say – as she did to Rey – that she was just helping to make sure that Christian would have a safe place to go in the event that the judge ruled in Adam’s favor on the guardianship matter. But her true feelings seem to go deeper than that. She’s repeatedly defended Adam’s right to have a relationship with Christian to Rey, and let’s face it, she wouldn’t have helped Adam by stepping in as a possible guardian if she weren’t somewhat on his side in the custody case.
And that’s something that Nick has had a hard time with. After all, he and Sharon used to raise Christian together, and he’s likely having a difficult time reconciling the fact that Sharon stepped up for Adam. Well, according to Y&R spoilers, Nick will finally end up cornering Sharon, and as the two have words, he’ll make it clear that if she sides with Adam, she’s turning her back on everyone else.
Of course, Sharon may point out that Nick is just trying to strong-arm her into whatever behavior he deems acceptable for her…which would be completely supporting him in the custody matter. Remember that Sharon had real problems with Nick back when he suddenly changed, started Dark Horse, and seemed to make his main goal in life to bring down his dad Victor Newman (Eric Braeden). She doesn’t like the dark side of Nick that tries to bully people, and she probably won’t appreciate him trying to tell her what to do.
Of course, all of these warnings that Sharon is getting about associating with Adam probably mean something…that she’s going to be further drawn to him! She sure has been protesting a lot lately about how she DOESN’T love Adam, and about how she DOESN’T think that Adam should rip Christian away from Nick, etc., and that probably means that she’ll soon go running straight to Adam.
Y&R spoilers indicate that Sharon will soon be trying to resist temptation, which lends further support for the idea that she and Adam will get together. Adam recently predicted to Rey that he wouldn’t have to hunt Sharon down, because she’d come right to him. Nick’s needling might just be the final factor that sends Sharon running in Adam’s direction!
It will be interesting to see how it all plays out, but right now Sharon’s the only person who even remotely would be in Adam’s corner, and you just know that she’s going to feel sorry for him since he’s all alone.
