The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Simon Black’s Deadly Threats – Chelsea And Connor In Danger

The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Simon Black’s (Jeffrey Vincent Parise) arrival in Genoa City, Wisconsin, proved to be a shocker. He made a money threat that will create drama.

Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) is recently widowed. But the former Mrs. Boudreau never anticipated that a man she’d never met, or even heard of would demand payment in full that Calvin Boudreau (John Burke) apparently owed.

Kevin Fisher’s (Greg Rikaart) inability to complete the cash wash that Chelsea requested included his stunning announcement that her funds are being held by the government. Y&R fans are right to wonder how Chelsea will respond to this problem.

Viewers learned that Chelsea inherited a lot of money after Calvin died earlier this year. Her haul included millions of dollars that were obtained through seemingly unusual means.

Chelsea had no idea that her husband was involved in underhanded actions. But she was glad to secure a stash of cash that gave her and Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) indefinite independence.

Chelsea felt guilty about having left GC in a rush nearly two years ago. She was spooked, took her rainy day fund from the walls of the penthouse, made a trip to Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) columbarium, and then left town with their son.

She lived the next year-plus, or whatever amount of time is believed to have passed in soap time, away from Wisconsin, eventually settling in Louisiana. Chelsea created a relationship with Calvin, who was originally a friend of her mother, Anita Lawson (Catherine Bach).

Chelsea’s return to GC, following Adam’s latest resurrection, resulted in the quick repairing of Chick. However, Chelsea was already financially stable before learning about Calvin’s bounty, meaning that Nick was never seen as a financial provider. Instead, she fell back in love with him while also rejecting Adam’s pleas to reconcile.

Nick would do anything to protect Chelsea and Connor. He would also ask Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) to intervene and provide any needed muscle to stop Simon’s threat. That assumes Chelsea tells Nick.

Whether the now-public candidate is made, or becomes aware of the situation, it’s reasonable to believe that his brother, Adam, will. Viewers know that he’d stop at nothing to defend Chelsea and his son, from whatever danger Simon poses.
