The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) fake death scheme will have some unintended consequences. This sneaky plan is meant to target Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), but it’s shaking up a lot of other lives, too. Summer Newman (Hunter King) is one of the people most devastated by Victor’s sudden demise. It’ll continue to take a toll on her, so she’ll need some support.
Of course, Summer won’t want to burden Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and the rest of the family too much. She’ll assume they’re all dealing with their own grief, so she may eventually isolate herself a bit. Things should get even rougher after Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) is arrested. Thanks to Adam’s plot, there’ll be proof that makes Victoria look like Victor’s murderer.
Summer probably won’t want to believe Victoria’s capable of that. She should side with Nick, who’ll inevitably insist Adam’s framing his sister. However, Summer will still feel lost and distraught. There’ll be more turmoil than ever in the Newman clan, so Summer will be disheartened. She doesn’t know Victor’s death isn’t real, so she’ll think the glue that holds them all together is gone.
Victor has always had complicated relationships with his children and even his adult grandchildren at times. Nevertheless, Y&R fans know there’s a lot of love in his heart. As long as his family members stay loyal, Victor will fiercely protect them and show them affection. He had a sweet bond with Summer, so it’ll remain hard for her as she thinks about life without her grandpa.
During the week of September 23-27, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will see Summer from another perspective. Will his new point of view involve Summer’s mourning? She may be a total mess, which could lead to Kyle’s comfort. He’s seen Summer’s vulnerable side before, but this may be at a whole different level.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say this could mark an interesting shift in Kyle and Summer’s relationship. Lola Abbott (Sasha Calle) tends to wind up in the wrong place at the wrong time, so she might witness their connection. She’s already on edge over the drugged kiss Summer planted at the Grand Phoenix. Lola just doesn’t believe Summer is over Kyle, and she’s right.
That may become even more evident to Lola soon enough. Will Lola struggle to contain her jealousy? Will Kyle’s feelings for Summer turn romantic again? Victor’s faked death could end up being a blessing in disguise for Summer – at least in her love life!
