The Young and the Restless spoilers update and recap for Thursday, July 18, tease that Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will reconnect in Paris as Ashley gives her brother a tour of her company. These two have come a long way from their bitter feuding from a few months ago, and they’ll even have a heart-to-heart about the funk that Jack’s been in lately.
Meanwhile, Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) will find herself intrigued about Kyle Abbott’s (Michael Mealor) hard partying past after a run-in with Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson). Lola will approach Kyle about the matter, but Kyle won’t give her many details. After getting nothing out of Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) about Kyle’s past either, Lola will give Theo a call and ask to talk.
Next, on the new episode of Y&R on Thursday, July 18, Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) will chat with Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) about his big plan – he’ll want to ask Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) to live with him as a couple. He’ll float the idea to Elena later, and after some thought she’ll say yes and the two will celebrate by making love.
At Crimson Lights, Abby will run a business proposition by Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) – she’ll want to expand the “Society” brand into the new hotel that Phyllis is overseeing. Phyllis will balk, but Abby will make a pretty good pitch and she’ll suggest that they set aside their differences for the sake of the project. Phyllis will consider the opportunity.
In New York City, Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) and Cane Ashby (Daniel Goddard) will enjoy their time together as the trip winds down. They’ll both be sorry that the whirlwind is coming to an end, and Cane will suggest that they explore what’s happening between the two of them. She’ll thank him for reminding her that she’s someone who deserves attention, and she’ll remark that they’ve shared something magical.
Meanwhile, back in Genoa City, Nate and Abby will go house hunting, since Nate needs a new pad. They’ll wind up at Cane’s house, and Nate will want to buy the place, but he’ll wonder how Cane would feel about that. The men will exchange texts, and it will be a deal! Later, Abby will invite Nate to the Newman family dinner as her date.
In Chancellor Park, Summer Newman (Hunter King) and Theo will be hanging out when Phyllis arrives on the scene. After Theo leaves, Phyllis will caution Summer about Theo and the two will bicker about Summer’s status as an influencer. Phyllis would rather that Summer work at Dark Horse. Later, Theo will return and impress Phyllis by offering to round up some celebrities for her hotel opening.
Finally, on Thursday’s episode of Y&R, Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) will pay Phyllis a visit at Dark Horse. As Y&R viewers know, Rey is on a mission to dig up dirt on Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) for Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow). Rey will ask Phyllis about Chance Chancellor (John Driscoll), and Phyllis will deny encountering him in Las Vegas saying she in need of much needed R&R.
Rey tells Phyllis that Chance went missing just around the time of her visit to Vegas, and that’s why he is questioning her. After Rey exits, Phyllis will appear to be quite nervous, even shocked, about Rey’s bombshell about Chance being missing.
