The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update and recap for Thursday, June 20, tease that Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will make a deal with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman). His instincts will tell him to reject Adam’s offer for the penthouse, but he won’t be able to pass up double what it’s worth. After Adam gets the keys, he’ll turn his attention to Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart).
Adam will remind Kevin that he has to do what he’s told. He’ll push Kevin to figure out what his siblings have in store and urge him to start with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle). Kevin will gripe since he doesn’t have great people skills, but Adam will offer an incentive. He’ll promise to let Kevin see Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) if he gets positive results.
Soon after, Kevin will speak with Victoria and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) at the coffeehouse. Once pleasantries are exchanged, Kevin will bring up Adam’s return to Genoa City. Victoria will feel like her brother’s worse than ever, so Kevin will fish for info on how she’ll fight back. He’ll even suggest that he could help get rid of Adam, but Victoria will be wary of making more trouble.
Billy will be on the same page, so he’ll advise Kevin to steer clear of the drama. Afterward, Kevin will catch up with Esther Valentine (Kate Linder) briefly. She’ll check out some new pics of Bella Fisher (Cali May Kinder) and offer a stern warning. Esther won’t think Kevin should have anything to do with Adam.
Next, Kevin will text Adam some updates on his sister. He’ll assure Adam that Victoria doesn’t have any plans. At Devon Hamilton’s (Bryton James) place, Ana Hamilton (Loren Lott) will gush about the video project she worked with Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) on. To her surprise, Devon will complain and suggest Ana let Mariah talk her into a “half-assed” idea.
Ana will defend their work, but Devon will think she’s too green for this gig. He’ll think he needs to hire someone with more experience to handle his artists. At Society, Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) will agree to be Lola Rosales’ (Sasha Calle) maid of honor. She’ll mention a bridal shower and consult with “Groomzilla” Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), who’ll be happy she’s part of the wedding party.
Kyle and Abby will end up bickering about bridesmaid gowns until Nate walks in. Devon, Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) and Jett Slade (Gilbert Glenn Brown) won’t be far behind. In the kitchen, Lola will accidentally lose her engagement ring! She’ll slip it off and an oblivious busboy will clear it away by mistake. The ring will end up falling out of his tub and on top of a cake slice headed to a table.
Elsewhere, Kyle will greet Summer Newman (Hunter King) and sense that she’s upset. When he questions her, Summer will blow him off and suggest it’s none of his concern. Back with Devon, he’ll blast Nate for selling the penthouse. After Nate talks about it being a tough reminder of Neil Winters (Kristoff St. John), he’ll reveal plans to make a sizable donation to the hospital with the money.
Devon will calm down a bit and turn his attention to Ana. He’ll try to patch things up after their disagreement earlier, but Ana will snap that he shouldn’t worry about it. After Devon dedicates the stage to Neil with a sweet speech, Ana will speak her mind. She won’t think it’s necessary to hire someone to babysit her.
While Ana and Jett perform, Lola will be in panic mode. She’ll try to hide the missing ring situation from Kyle, but she’ll eventually admit it’s gone. After the waiter takes the cake to the wrong table and drops it, the ring will land in the trash. Kyle will ultimately fish it out and put it back on Lola’s finger, so they’ll celebrate with a kiss.
Next, The Young and the Restless spoilers say Summer will confide in Kevin. She’ll mention Phyllis Summers’ (Gina Tognoni) vanishing act before interrogating Adam, who’ll suggest her mom will pop up soon. Back with Kevin, he’ll notice a text from Phyllis on Summer’s phone. It’ll reveal that Phyllis got screwed over and is now gathering ammo, so Kevin will hit delete.
At the cemetery, Adam will arrive to find Billy at Delia Abbott’s (Sophie Pollono) grave. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Billy won’t approve of Adam’s visit, so a major outburst is brewing.
