The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update and recap for Thursday, June 27, tease that Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) will be a bit flustered after that kiss with Cane Ashby (Daniel Goddard). She’ll contend that the finished novel must have her giddy. Cane will push for a party to celebrate Traci’s success, which she won’t be so sure about. However, Cane will insist this is going to be great.
At Jabot, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will bring Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) up to speed on Phyllis Summers’ (Michelle Stafford) new job. The news will leave Billy concerned since Dark Horse is the landlord for all their Jaboutiques. Jack will suggest that Adam’s a pal and will keep Phyllis from going after Jabot, but Billy obviously won’t have as much faith in Adam.
Talk will turn to Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) role as CEO of Newman Enterprises. Jack will be taken aback to learn Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) put Victoria in charge. Afterward, Billy will catch up with Cane over some beers. They’ll discuss Traci wrapping up her book and Cane’s desire to move on from Chancellor.
At Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) penthouse, he’ll urge Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) to divulge his dirt on Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow). Kevin will admit he looked through Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) files and found something that could do serious damage to Nick’s custody case. They’ll start bickering when Kevin demands to see Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) before providing the info.
After Kevin notes that Adam is hurting Bella Fisher (Cali May Kinder), the ruthless Newman will soften slightly. A little later, Kevin will reunite with Chloe. The Young and the Restless spoilers say they’ll share some tender moments as Chloe apologizes for running off. It was hard to hear that Adam was still alive.
Kevin will understand, but he’ll also warn that Chloe can’t keep going after Adam like that. She’ll hope they can go home now, but Kevin will fib that he’s working on something for Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc). Once Adam interrupts, Chloe will insist on talking to him alone. Kevin will reluctantly leave them to tackle the issues between them.
Adam will note that Chloe would kill him if she could. She’ll confess that she’d like for Adam to feel her pain and be broken like her. Chloe will feel like she can’t give Bella a whole mom; half of her is already used up on hatred for Adam. Y&R spoilers say Adam will open up about that horrible night and how it haunts him. He’ll desperately wish he would’ve spotted Delia Abbott (Sophie Pollono) before he ran over her.
Adam will regret the cover-up, but he won’t think Chloe should spend her life focused on revenge. He’ll push Chloe to start living for Bella instead. Next, Kevin will come back and be asked for a huge favor. He’ll grant Chloe’s request by bringing Esther Valentine (Kate Linder) in the loop on her survival. Esther will be an emotional mess as Chloe explains everything, but they’ll definitely be happy tears.
Since Chloe has to stay dead to the rest of the world, Esther will decide to go spend some time in Portland. They’ll make plans to meet at the airport later. Chloe will tell Kevin she’s going to say goodbye to Delia first, but she’ll also plan to shock Billy at the cemetery. After being summoned via text, Billy will look like he’s seen a ghost as Chloe appears.
Back with Kevin, Adam will confront him about the dirt he promised. He’ll think it’s time for Kevin to keep his end of the bargain. Adam wants to know the secret info that sink Nick’s custody case.
At the coffeehouse, Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) will assure Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) that the video’s perfect. She’ll give Tessa a pep talk about her talent, but she’ll ultimately need one from Tessa, too.
Mariah will confess that she’s not sure what happens after they release the video. She’ll be a little in over her head at Power Communications, but Tessa will praise Mariah for being smart and resourceful. Later, they’ll visit Devon Hamilton’s (Bryton James) penthouse to seek Ana Hamilton’s (Loren Lott) approval. Ana will mention tweaking the audio a bit, but she’ll love it.
Of course, they all still need Devon to sign off on their project. Since Devon already expressed doubt, Tessa will worry he’s going to veto the whole thing. However, Ana will feel confident Devon was just having a bad night. She’ll think seeing the finished product will make a difference. Ana will hope this convinces Devon she doesn’t need a babysitter either!
