The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recapfor Tuesday, August 20, tease that Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) will fly into a rage. He’ll be appalled when he walks in Crimson Lights and notices Adrian Rosales (Jay Montalvo) flirting with Sharon Newman (Sharon Case). Rey will drag his father away to rant at him. He’ll note that Lola Abbott (Sasha Calle) has married into a rich family and insist Adrian must want a piece of the action.
Rey won’t allow more pain for his family, but Adrian will feel like Rey has no business judging him. He’ll point out that Rey’s own brother got his ex-wife pregnant. Soon after, Celeste Rosales (Eva LaRue) will jump in and stop things from taking a violent turn. She’ll shut down Adrian’s plea for another chance, so he’ll take off.
That’ll leave Celeste to give Rey a pep talk regarding his Sharon breakup. She’ll feel certain he’ll find happiness someday. Over with Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc), he’ll get grilled about his run for district attorney. Lauren Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) will think it’s weird that Michael took Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) as a client. She’ll suspect Michael’s run is related to Adam, but he won’t confirm that.
Next, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Summer Newman (Hunter King) will assure Michael that he’s got their votes. Y&R spoilers say they’ll also talk about Theo Vanderway’s (Tyler Johnson) wedding plus one. Phyllis will be curious if Lola knows anything about Zoe Hardisty (Anna Grace Barlow).
Back with Michael, he’ll take a phone call from the mayor before Lauren grills him again. She’ll ask if Michael is protecting her somehow. Lauren will feel like all of this must trace back to Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart), but The Young and the Restless spoilers say Michael will continue to dodge her questions.
After Adam arrives, Phyllis will watch his interaction with Michael. Adam will let Michael know he talked some potential candidates out of going up against him. Afterward, Phyllis will offer her gratitude to Adam since he sold the Grand Phoenix to Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway). She’ll note that Abby intends to make her a partner, but Adam will just be glad Phyllis is someone else’s problem.
Talk will turn to Adam’s desire for revenge, which Phyllis will understand. However, she’ll also understand that it doesn’t get you anywhere. Phyllis will insist she’s concentrating on what she loves and views Adam’s life as a sad one. Over with Summer, Zoe will walk up and introduce herself. She’ll confess she follows Summer on social media and praise Theo as a great guy.
Theo will show up and suggest they all go to lunch, but Zoe will contend that Summer and her mother are busy right now. Once Summer reconvenes with Phyllis, she’ll be summoned to a Jabot-My Beauty merger meeting. At the coffeehouse, Lauren will prove she’s not letting this Adam thing go. She’ll wonder if Michael plans to take Adam down after he scores the DA position.
Michael won’t divulge any details, but he’ll promise things will get clearer soon enough. Meanwhile, Sharon will get called to the park by Adam. He’ll stun her when he suddenly blurts out a marriage proposal. On their honeymoon, Lola and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will awaken in bed together. They’ll enjoy a little paradise and reflect on their wedding, including the drama with Adrian and Theo’s date.
Lola will question if Theo was trying to make Summer jealous, but the discussion will shift back to Lola’s dad. Later, Kyle and Lola will skip some outdoor activities so they can enjoy some lovemaking. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Kyle’s secret is a ticking timebomb, so stay tuned to see when it’ll blow! We’ll give you updates as other Y&R news comes in.
