The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Tuesday, July 16, tease that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will have some advice for his brother. Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) is juggling a few problems these days, so there are certainly some things he could use guidance on. However, it seems Billy may advise Jack on an issue at Jabot. A major crisis could be brewing if Jack doesn’t act fast.
No one is safe with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) on the throne at Dark Horse. Phyllis has proven she’ll step on anyone and everyone as she climbs to the top. Jack considers Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) a friend and doesn’t believe he’d let Phyllis go after Jabot. Of course, Y&R fans know Jack may be giving Adam too much credit.
We’re talking about a man who just accused the woman he loves of murder! The situation with Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) proves there’s no line Adam won’t cross. Adam is a lot like Phyllis when it comes to getting what he wants. He ultimately does what’s best for himself, so Billy may remind Jack of that and point out their family’s company is at stake.
Whatever the case, The Young and the Restless spoilers say Jack will start strategizing and that’ll lead him to Paris later this week. Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) will get a visit from Jack along with a surprising pitch. A Jabot-My Beauty merger just might be in the works!
Meanwhile, some unfinished business will be on Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) mind. He’ll decide it’s something that needs to be addressed, so he’ll head off to take care of it. Will this involve Adam and the custody battle? Victor might take bolder steps to thwart Adam’s attempt to take Christian Newman (Jude and Ozzy McGuigen).
Over with Cane Ashby (Daniel Goddard), he’ll talk a mile a minute as he praises Traci Abbott’s (Beth Maitland) new book. Jill Atkinson (Jess Walton) will be taken aback by Cane’s apparent enthusiasm. She was undoubtedly expecting Cane to be down in the dumps over Lily Ashby (Christel Khalil), but Traci’s given him a sense of optimism.
Jill may grow curious about Cane and Traci’s friendship, which is clearly something more at this point. They just have to nail down their feelings and figure out exactly what they want. For the time being, Cane certainly enjoys being around Traci and is eager to see more of her. He may admit that to Jill on Tuesday and hope things continue to develop.
