The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Tuesday, May 28, tease that a familiar face will return home. Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) recently came to a heartbreaking decision about Dina Mergeron (Marla Adams). They’ll miss having her around the house, but they believe it’ll be safer for her at a facility. It’s important to focus on what’s truly best for Dina.
That’s why Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) was called back to Genoa City. She’ll quickly meet up with Jack, Traci and Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway). They’ll wish there was another way to handle this, but they’ll just accept what they can’t change and hope Dina understands. Of course, Dina most definitely will NOT understand – at least not at first.
Y&R spoilers say Dina will end up blasting her family members. She’ll feel like they simply don’t want her around, so the Abbott clan will work hard to convince her that’s not true. With any luck, Dina will make peace with the choice. If not, the Abbotts can just wait it out. Due to Dina’s decline, she probably won’t remember she’s angry for long.
Over with Sharon Newman (Sharon Case), she’ll be shocked to receive an invitation. There’s a good chance it’ll be for Neil Winters’ (Kristoff St. John) will reading. We know Sharon will be at the gathering on Wednesday’s new Y&R episode, May 29, and the invite seems like something she’d be surprised by. Sharon knew and loved Neil like so many other people in town, but she wouldn’t expect to receive any kind of bequest.
Nevertheless, Neil indeed left something to Sharon and that should bring another surprise when the time comes. Until then, we can watch Cane Ashby (Daniel Goddard) struggle to make a decision. This seemingly involves the will reading as well. Lily Ashby (Christel Khalil) will obviously be in attendance, so Cane won’t know if he should show up and risk making her uncomfortable.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Cane will spend some time mulling it over. Will he get advice from Traci, too? Regardless, Cane will ultimately decide to be there. He’ll feel like it’s what Neil would want, so he’ll settle on the plan and brace for awkwardness.
