The Young and the Restless spoilers review for Tuesday, November 26, tease that Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) and Colin Atkinson (Tristan Rogers) will be enjoying themselves in the Maldives, with Jill fully accepting Colin’s tale of how he righted a wrong. They’ll be laughing when Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz) shows up at the door. He’ll burst in, angry with Colin, but Jill will try to explain that the whole thing is a big misunderstanding.
Chance won’t be having any of it, and Colin will appear visibly nervous. Chance will say that there’s no way that David Sherman (Robert Gant) or Tucker McCall (Stephen Nichols) made changes to Katherine Chancellor’s (Jeanne Cooper) will, and that Cane Ashby (Daniel Goddard) doesn’t deserve a penny of Katherine’s money.
Cane will then show up at the door, acting totally innocent, and a mass argument will ensue. Chance will ultimately demand that Colin confess to masterminding everything, and Colin will suddenly blurt that the whole thing was Cane’s idea. It will sound totally weak, and Chance won’t buy it, while Cane denies the whole thing.
But Colin will persist and say that it was Cane’s idea to hire Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan), which will rattle Jill, who will then wonder if Cane was involved. Cane will again deny it, and Colin will say that he can prove it because he paid for his digs there in the Maldives with cash that he took from Cane’s account. Cane will be furious to hear that Colin stole Katherine’s money from him.
At that point, Colin will try to escape, and he’ll run out of the room, only to be dragged back in by Cane and Chance. Jill won’t know what to believe, and Cane will insist that he’ll do whatever it takes to get justice for Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) and clear his good name.
Of course, at this point it is unclear how Simon Black (Jeffrey Vincent Parise) fits into all of this, but Y&R viewers will remember that Simon recently offered information to the Feds about Colin. And Chance has suspected since he first returned on the scene that Simon was somehow connected to the issue of Katherine’s will. But how will these things ultimately be linked? Perhaps it’s as simple as Colin and Simon being associates and trying to steal Devon’s fortune together, but time will tell.
Meanwhile, on the new episode of Y&R on Tuesday, November 26, Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will battle terrible guilt and anxiety. She won’t be able to get what happened with Simon off of her mind, and she’ll be terribly worried about Connor Newman (Judah Mackey). She’ll have spent another night at Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) penthouse, and they’ll be preparing for Connor to return to school for the first time since the hostage situation.
But things won’t go well when they meet with the school principal. She’ll suggest that they remove Connor from school and homeschool him for up to a year. Chelsea will think that Connor will end up feeling alone and isolated, and she’ll be lamenting about the situation when Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will appear and offer her support to Chelsea and Adam in light of what happened. Chelsea will be focused on Connor missing too much school, while Sharon advises they think first about his emotional needs.
Chelsea will step away to talk with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) via phone, and she’ll be too preoccupied with her guilt and concern over Connor to give him much of her time, much to his chagrin. Later, Adam and Chelsea will talk some more, and Adam will offer her reassurance and tell her to stop beating herself up over what happened, and that Connor’s problems didn’t start that day at the hotel.
Clearly, Connor is going to consume a lot of Chelsea’s time going forward, especially if he is homeschooled from now on. It’s hard to imagine her relationship with Nick being able to sustain itself, especially since she’s likely going to need to move in with Adam and Connor. Her concern and guilt will probably lead her to distance herself more and more from Nick going forward, which doesn’t bode well for their relationship.
