The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Tuesday, October 1 Review – Victor’s Reveal Destroys Summer – Adam’s Connection To New Will

The Young and the Restless spoilers review for Tuesday, October 1, tease that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will find Summer Newman (Hunter King) at The Grand Phoenix. She’ll do her best to cheer Summer up, but Summer will still be heartbroken over Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) death. Mother and daughter still won’t be getting along well, and they’ll argue about Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), among other things.

Meanwhile, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will try to reach Summer by phone, but Summer won’t notice his calls as she talks to Phyllis. Nick will want her to come to the ranch to hear the news about Victor being alive, but she’ll miss all his calls. Meanwhile, at the ranch, Victor will reveal himself to Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc), then meet with the rest of his family (not including Summer), as well as Paul Williams (Doug Davidson).

As they’re all gathered together, Paul will reveal that the pharmacist who helped Adam in his quest to double-dose Victor has turned on Adam, and Victor will tell everyone that Adam paid him a visit earlier, apologized, and said he was leaving town. To the rest of the family’s horror, Victor will maintain that he saw a change in Adam, and so he let him go. Paul will be particularly upset that Adam’s free, and he’ll leave the meeting in disgust.

Victor will then have Michael give a televised press conference, during which he states that all charges against Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) have been dropped because there was no murder. Victor will then come out of the shadows and speak to the cameras, saying that there was a threat to his life and that extreme measures had to be taken. Summer and Phyllis will watch the press conference live on TV from The Grand Phoenix.

Needless to say, Summer will be horrified that Victor has been alive all this time and she didn’t know it, and Phyllis will be absolutely outraged. They’ll both head to the ranch, where Summer will be devastated that everyone was in on the ruse but her and Phyllis will be livid and throw accusations around at everyone. They’ll end up storming out in a huff.

Meanwhile, on the new episode of Y&R on Tuesday, October 1, Devon Hamilton (Bryton James), Jill Abbott (Jess Walton), and Cane Ashby (Daniel Goddard) will sit stunned by Amanda Sinclair’s (Mishael Morgan) declaration that Cane is the rightful recipient of the bulk of Katherine Chancellor’s (Jeanne Cooper) fortune. Devon will balk, and so will Brittany Hodges (Lauren Woodland) once they get a look at the actual document…which is a photocopy.

Devon will maintain that this whole thing is nothing more than a scam, but Amanda will insist that she’ll have the original documents soon, and she’ll be confident that they’ll be authenticated. After the lawyers leave, Cane, Jill, and Devon will chat and try to make sense of what’s happened, and Devon will lash out at Cane, accusing him of orchestrating the whole thing, but Cant will vehemently deny it. Finally, Devon will calm down and apologize for accusing Cane.

Cane will offer to help by trying to find Chance Chancellor (John Driscoll) and getting to the bottom of what’s going on here. He’ll want to know Chance’s last known location, and Devon will reveal that he was last known to be in Las Vegas with Adam. And at that moment, Adam will be shown back in Las Vegas, playing poker and being called by his fellow players as “Spider.”

It’s interesting that, thus far, no one has considered that Adam might be involved in challenging Katherine’s will. It’s unclear exactly what Adam would gain by Cane being “discovered” to be the recipient of Katherine’s fortune at this point, but it just doesn’t seem like a coincidence that Chance has a connection to both Adam and this new challenge against Katherine’s will. Maybe Cane’s investigation will reveal exactly what the link is between Chase and Adam, and whether Adam’s pulling the strings with Amanda.

It sounds like a lot of Y&R drama is heating up for Tuesday’s episode, so stay tuned! We’ll give you updates as Y&R news comes in. Stick with the CBS soap and don’t forget to check CDL often for the latest Young and the Restless spoilers, updates, and news.
