The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Tuesday, October 29, tease that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will have a heart-to-heart with his father. They already had an emotional conversation before Adam left for Vegas, which gave Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) some closure. He wanted to see some genuine remorse and humanity in Adam, and he got his wish in his tearful son’s eyes.
Victor truly thought Adam would never return, but he’ll be pleased that the plan has changed. Adam is stepping up for Connor Newman (Judah Mackey), which should leave Victor proud of him. Although Adam has a dark side, there’s nothing but love in his heart for Connor. That kid means the world to him, so Victor will want Adam to keep that in mind. Adam needs to stay on the straight and narrow for his boy’s sake.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Adam will promise that Connor is the priority. Perhaps an agreement can even be reached regarding Christian Newman (Alex Wilson). After all, if Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) can be a loving uncle to Connor, shouldn’t Adam get the chance to be a loving uncle to Christian? He may not be serving as the kid’s father, but he shouldn’t be shoved out of Christian’s life completely. It seems like Nick’s been trying to steal Adam’s whole family!
However, Victor will hope he can bring all the Newmans together, including Nick and Adam. He’ll realize that’s not going to happen overnight, and he’ll understand that some damage may never be repaired. Even so, Victor will find common ground with Adam and hope the future is bright. They’ll reach a compromise that could serve as new beginning for their relationship.
Other Young and the Restless spoilers say Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will seek vengeance. She doesn’t want to drag Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) back to a sinister place, so this surely isn’t about Adam. Perhaps Victoria’s still holding a grudge from when Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) was in charge at Dark Horse.
Phyllis tried to smooth things over on her way out, but maybe that’s not enough for Victoria – especially now that she’s power-tripping on the Newman throne. Regardless, Victoria will plot her revenge while Phyllis gets a tantalizing offer. Will it be a trap that Victoria sets? That’s one option to consider.
Of course, we should also think about Y&R’s recent preview video, which shows Adam handing Phyllis a $10 million check. He urges Phyllis to take the money and get lost, so maybe leaving Adam alone is a condition of some business deal. Trouble tends to follow Phyllis everywhere she goes, and that’s a good reason for Adam to distance himself from his quasi-friend. He’s focused on keeping his hands clean and raising Connor now.
