The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Tuesday, September 10, tease that some bizarre behavior is on the way. Thanks to Zoe Hardisty’s (Anna Grace Barlow) sneaky drug-slipping, the Grand Sangria drinks will provide a very special brew. As the guests down a few of them, things will start spiraling out of control.
Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) and Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) won’t be doing much drinking. They’ll want to stay on their game since the Grand Phoenix opening is a big deal for them. They’ve got plenty of people to mix and mingle with, so it makes sense for them to stay sharp. It’ll also allow them to pick up on the weird actions of their guests almost immediately.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say dancing will be one of the first giveaways that something’s up. Then again, “dancing” might not be the appropriate term for whatever it is the drugged guests will be doing! Flailing around with no rhythm might be a better description, but it should score some laughs.
Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes), Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) and Summer Newman (Hunter King) will all let loose. They’ll dance like no one’s watching – and not many people will be since they’ll be caught up in their own drugged little worlds. Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will make her interest in Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) known as she instigates a make-out session.
Meanwhile, Summer will chat with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and reflect on the past. It’ll lead to a moment that’s pretty electric, but Kyle will try to respect boundaries. Unfortunately, Summer won’t know the meaning of boundaries in this drugged state. It won’t be long until she’s got her lips on Kyle, so Lola Abbott’s (Sasha Calle) in for an infuriating sight.
Over with Devon Hamilton (Bryton James), he’s in for a shock of his own. There are some interesting options to consider. One is another twist related to Katherine Chancellor’s (Jeanne Cooper) will, but that doesn’t seem too likely due to Devon’s party participation. It’s not really the time or place for another will bombshell.
What else could leave Devon rocked to the core? A kiss between Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) and Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) might be to blame. Those two have been a little too close for comfort lately, so it could easily happen under the influence.
There have also been persistent rumblings about Mishael Morgan (ex-Hilary Hamilton) rejoining The Young and the Restless cast as a new character. Y&R buzz suggests that’s still happening at some point. Since Morgan has been on set a few times to film as Hilary’s ghost, there’s no reason she couldn’t appear as her new character now – even if it’s just a brief sighting to prepare for what’s ahead. Spotting a Hilary lookalike would certainly shake Devon up.
