The Young and the Restless spoilers tease that Phyllis Summers (Gina Tognoni) will soon be paying a steep price for her immunity deal. She angered more than a few people when she struck her deal and then implicated Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), and Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) with her disastrous testimony. And now those people are coming after her big time.
Of course, there’s Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), who has already threatened Phyllis that if Nikki and Victoria go down for JT Hellstrom’s (Thad Luckinbill) murder, he’s coming after her. But we wonder if Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) might be a more immediate threat to Phyllis.
Nick was unhappy with Phyllis’ immunity deal, and he’s been acting coldly toward her ever since. He threw her out of his house and his life, and he really seems done with her for good. And now Y&R spoilers say that he’ll form an alliance with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson). Nick and Billy normally don’t get along and wouldn’t form an alliance under normal conditions, but their mutual anger with Phyllis would be a great reason.
We bet that Nick and Billy will have some plan against Phyllis. It could involve a media campaign against her, or perhaps they’ll try to drive a wedge between Phyllis and Summer Newman (Hunter King). That would be pretty low, but then again, they’re pretty peeved at Phyllis right now. After all, she hung out to dry the people they love.
Of course, Billy’s also involved in separate alliance against Phyllis involving Jabot. Billy and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) are teaming up to oust Phyllis as CEO. They believe that Phyllis no longer has the moral character to be the face of Jabot, since she’s just admitted in court to helping cover up a murder. And since Phyllis refuses to step down, they’ll bring out the big guns.
Their main objective right now is to turn Kerry Johnson (Alice Hunter) against Phyllis, to bleed Phyllis of her last real ally at Jabot. But that could prove to be an uphill battle. Kerry considers herself to be Phyllis’ close friend, so getting her to turn on Phyllis will be tough. But Jack will try his hardest to get Kerry to come around to his way of thinking, and it certainly seems that he has some pull with her.
It certainly looks like Phyllis is going to have a tough time going forward, with so many forces working against her. And if the alliances are successful in turning Summer and Kerry away from Phyllis, and in ousting Phyllis from Jabot, then Phyllis will truly have nothing left.
Do you feel sorry for Phyllis, or is she just getting what she deserves? Stay tuned to the CBS soap and don’t forget to check CDL often for the latest Young and the Restless spoilers, updates, and news.
