The Young and the Restless spoilers tease that Mia Rosales (Noemi Gonzalez) may be headed for a big breakdown soon. Mia’s not the most emotionally stable person on a day to day basis, plus she’s had some major stressors in her life recently that have begun to push her closer to the edge.
First off, Mia’s vow renewal to Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) got sabotaged when her former love Arturo Rosales (Jason Canela) suddenly popped the question to Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway). This totally upstaged Mia, which rocked her to her core.
It didn’t help that Abby’s engagement ring was absolutely huge, which Mia couldn’t help but notice. This is in contrast to the necklace that Rey gave her as a wedding present that was pretty, but minuscule in comparison to the rock that Arturo gave Abby.
Arturo’s impromptu proposal also deeply hurt Mia because it signaled that Arturo has moved on from her. Truth be told, Arturo moved on from Mia long ago, but Mia’s still hung up him. The truth is that Mia wants both Rey and Arturo, and she’s reeling that Arturo has fallen in love with another woman. Mia really feels the loss.
Of course, it might be easier on Mia to let go of Arturo if she felt she had a solid marriage with Rey, but there’s always the nagging question in the back of Mia’s mind about Rey’s feelings for Sharon Newman (Sharon Case). Rey insists that his relationship with Sharon is strictly professional, but Mia has her doubts.
One has to wonder what Mia will do if Rey and Sharon actually do become more than friends. The spark is clearly still there for “Shey,” and Y&R spoilers say that their mutual attraction is going to get hard for them to ignore. When they finally do have an affair, Mia’s going to be beyond stressed, and who knows what she’ll do if she thinks she’s lost both Arturo and Rey to other women.
Mia already had a psycho fantasy about chopping off Abby’s hair, so imagine what she might be poised to do if she feels that both Arturo and Rey have forsaken her. Knowing Mia, she’ll go hard after Abby and Sharon. Could we see a “fatal attraction” sort of crazy from Mia, where she starts going after Abby or Sharon’s loved ones?
