The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Wednesday, August 28, tease that Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) will receive an unsettling letter. He’ll open it up and learn that an attorney wants to meet with him. Devon will relay the news to Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) and explain that it involves some discrepancies in Katherine Chancellor’s (Jeanne Cooper) will.
Of course, Elena may downplay the drama and try to reassure Devon. She might suggest it could just be something minor. Devon may tell himself that as well, but he’ll probably have a bad feeling deep down. “Elevon” fans have been begging for a juicy story, so they just might be getting their wish!
Devon’s fortune has come up several times throughout his relationship with Elena. He’s a billionaire thanks to his late grandmother, but for how much longer? We’ll have to wait and see, but the trouble surrounding Katherine’s will should be intriguing. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Devon’s world could be turned upside down soon enough.
Over with Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway), she’ll receive the final paperwork for the Grand Phoenix. Abby will officially close the deal with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and prepare to move forward with Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) as the hotel’s manager. They’ve got big plans and they can’t wait to see them through to the end.
Abby will hope to keep building her empire, but she’d better watch out for her devious brother. Adam has vowed to destroy the Newman family, which Abby is part of. Her partnership with Chelsea may keep her safe for now, but anything can happen down the road.
Other Young and the Restless spoilers say Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will be thrilled to have his son back home. Christian Newman (Alex Wilson) will be ecstatic, too. He’ll undoubtedly spend some time hanging out with Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) as he gets settled in again.
Chelsea and Nick will love having both their boys under one roof. It’ll feel like old times, so they’ll face some familiar feelings. It won’t be long until Nick and Chelsea hit the sheets – presumably after Christian and Connor are fast asleep! Y&R viewers will see “Chick” make love and potentially talk about what’s next on their journey together.
