The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Wednesday, December 25, tease that some holiday surprises are in store. Before we get to the first one, let’s set it up. Paul Williams (Doug Davidson) will back on the scene, and he’ll have Christine Williams (Lauralee Bell) with him this time. It’ll be nice to see Paul and Christine together again, but wait – there’s more! They’ll be joined by Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) and Lauren Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman), so this will basically be a little double date.
Here’s where things get a tad tricky. Y&R spoilers clearly state that Christine, Paul, Lauren and Michael will enjoy their evening. On Twitter, Davidson didn’t seem so sure about the “evening” part. Someone tweeted Davidson that info and he expressed some confusion. “Evening? I thought it was lunch,” Davidson said.
It’s possible the person behind the official Young and the Restless spoilers simply goofed. It’s also possible Davidson is mistaken – or maybe they’ll just be having an early bird special! Whether this is lunch or dinner, it sounds like Michael, Lauren, Paul and Christine will all come together for a special meal together. The fact that they’ll be out having fun is the important part.
However, this outing will take a startling turn in Wednesday’s episode. Will that involve Fenmore “Fen” Baldwin’s (Zach Tinker) upcoming return? He’s set to make a comeback during the week of December 23-27, so it’s a possibility to consider.
Regardless of the exact date, Fen’s return will indeed be a surprise for Lauren. She’ll be thrilled when Michael arranges their son’s visit and gives Lauren the best gift he could possibly give her. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Fen’s commitment to his recovery will impress his Lauren and Michael. Fen has done well in rehab, so he’ll be eager to relax and spend some quality time with the fam.
Faith Newman (Alyvia Alyn Lind) will also return from Genoa City around the same time as Fen. Look for Sharon Newman (Sharon Case), Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and Summer Newman (Hunter King) to catch up with Faith right away. They’ll all be eager to hear about Faith’s adventures in boarding school.
Other Young and the Restless spoilers say Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will catch Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) off guard. Chelsea will likely bring up Nick Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) Christmas party invitation. Nick caves on offering Adam one in Tuesday’s episode, so Chelsea may pass the news along on Wednesday.
If Adam doesn’t seem keen on the idea, that would probably surprise Chelsea. He might push her to stay at his penthouse, where it would be the three of them: Chelsea, Adam and Connor Newman (Judah Mackey). Chelsea obviously wouldn’t go for that since Nick is making an effort here.
Of course, there’s a chance Adam will catch Chelsea off guard with a gift. He may have something special up his sleeve as a Christmas present. Whatever the case, it’ll be interesting to see what’s in store. We’ll give you updates as other Y&R details emerge.
