The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update and recap for Wednesday, February 6, tease that Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) will be excited about Fenmore “Fen” Baldwin’s (Zach Tinker) debut event. He’ll be grateful for Ana Hamilton’s (Loren Lott) big idea as well as her help setting up. Neil Winters (Kristoff St. John) will arrive to offer his support soon after. He’ll learn it’s been really great for Devon to have Ana in town.
Once it’s time to get the party started, Devon will greet the guests. He’ll assure them that the streaming label’s next big artist is on the way. Meanwhile, Ana will keep sending texts to an MIA Fen. She’ll grow nervous when she can’t get in touch with him.
At the police station, Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) will drop by to see Sharon Newman (Sharon Case). She’ll reveal that Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) just scored a server job at the restaurant Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) and Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) are opening. Mariah fudged the truth to help Tessa out, so she’ll convince Sharon to back up the story if Abby calls.
Afterward, Sharon will get back to work. She’ll be on tip line duty, which will lead to a huge shocker. The Young and the Restless spoilers say someone will send proof that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is a murderer. Sharon will open an audio recording of Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) talking to Victor. The murder weapon will be the topic of their discussion, so this obviously isn’t good news!
Sharon will ask Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) if she should delete the unhelpful tips, but he’ll warn her not to. Rey will indicate that they’ve already been logged in the system, so Sharon would get fired if she messed with them.
Once Sharon takes a break, she’ll end up at Nick’s place. She’ll provide updates on the tip line bombshell, so he’ll fill her in on surveillance equipment discovery and Katie Abbott’s (Sienna Mercuri) new “friend.”
Nick will maintain that it’s possible J.T. Hellstrom (Thad Luckinbill) is alive. Sharon won’t be so sure, but she’ll think the recording is the more pressing matter anyway. Nick will wonder if Sharon would be willing to delete it, but she’ll decline. Since Sharon’s in a terrible situation, Nick will get why she has to leave it alone.
Back at the GCPD, Rey will fret to Sharon about being the fall guy if this case doesn’t pan out. He’ll insist that he needs more proof. Sharon will hand over what Rey needs a little later. He’ll be grateful for the audio file, which could put help put Victor behind bars.
Other Young and the Restless spoilers say Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will hope to help Lola relax. He’ll think they should do a double-date night with Mariah and Tessa, so Lola will get on board. While they wait on their movie time, Summer Newman (Hunter King) will do some meddling. She’ll push everyone to sit down for hot cocoa, which will spark some awkward moments.
After Summer mentions Fen and Kyle’s photoshoot, Lola will be taken aback. She won’t get why Kyle didn’t mention something as huge as an ad campaign. Once Summer starts showing off the photos, Lola will back out of the movie and start to leave. Y&R spoilers say Kyle will stop her for a loud argument. Lola will feel like Summer is a stalker and Kyle has managed to feed her behavior.
Kyle will disagree, but Lola will bring up the topic of sex and wonder if things would be different if it were on the table. He’ll confess that waiting has become difficult. Kyle won’t feel like Lola trusts him enough to have sex, so she’ll run off in tears.
Once Lola’s gone, Fen will take jabs at Kyle for not getting Lola in bed. He’ll eventually realize he’s running behind for his music gig and head out. That’ll leave Summer to keep shaking things up. She’ll insist that a relationship is supposed to meet the needs of both people. Summer will contend that Lola’s not doing that for Kyle, so maybe she’s not the right girl for him.
At the athletic club, Neil and Devon will push Ana to take Fen’s place on stage. He’ll arrive just in time to hear Ana getting the applause he would’ve gotten! The Young and the Restless spoilers say Fen’s sure to get an earful for the delay.
