The Young and the Restless spoilers review for Wednesday, October 16, tease that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will head to the Newman Ranch after being summoned by Victor Newman (Eric Braeden). Victor will want to talk about the night that Billy tried to run down Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) with a car, and Billy won’t even try to deny it. He’ll take responsibility for what he did even though he doesn’t remember that night.
Billy will explain that he was going through a rough time and that every time he saw Adam, he saw Delia Abbott (Sophie Pollono) dying on the side of the road, and that he blacked out. Victor will listen to the story and needle Billy a bit about whether he’s now “cured” and whether he can really do right by Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle). But in the end, Victor will say that Adam got another chance and that Billy should get one, too. The two men will end on decent terms.
Meanwhile, on the new episode of Y&R on Wednesday, October 16, Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) will notice Lola Abbott (Sasha Calle) in the kitchen at Society feeling under the weather. Lola will be light-headed and nauseated at the smell of food. Abby will wonder if Lola could be pregnant, but Lola will quickly dismiss the idea. Later, Lola will feel faint while talking with Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson), who will promptly call Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) to come tend to her.
While Lola’s gathering her things, Theo will offer a seemingly heartfelt apology to Kyle about his behavior as of late. He’ll admit to having been an ass and will say that he’s trying to be a better person going forward. Later, at home, Kyle and Lola will anxiously await the results of a home pregnancy test. Kyle will do his best to reassure Lola, but it will be clear that he’s really nervous about the possibility of having a baby.
The test will turn out to be negative, and later Kyle will have to leave for a work matter, while Lola remains at home. Theo will then text asking if Lola’s ok, and he’ll tell her to look outside the door – he’ll have left some soup for her, which she’ll smile as she finds. She’ll happily dig into the soup, sending Theo a thank-you text. She won’t seem to realize that Theo must have been watching and waiting for Kyle to leave before he brought the soup by, which seems a little creepy.
Finally, Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) will bump into Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) at Crimson Lights and question what she’s still doing in Genoa City. She’ll note that what Amanda has done to Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) is disgusting. They’ll go back and forth a bit, and Amanda will rant and say that she can’t wait for this case to be over and that she never should have let “that old jerk” get her into this.
Devon will pop in at just that moment and say that she can’t be referring to Chance Chancellor (John Driscoll), since he’s not old, so he’ll wonder exactly who Amanda was talking about. Amanda will lamely cover and say that she meant that Chance sounded like an old jerk on the phone.
Clearly, someone older is calling the shots for Amanda, but who could it be, and what could they possibly have against Devon? The Young and the Restless spoilers indicate that Colin Atkinson (Tristan Rogers) is a likely candidate for the role of mastermind of the will scam.
