The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Wednesday, September 25, teases that the plan to trap Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will remain underway. At the Grand Phoenix, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) meet up with Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway). They whisper about the plan before Victoria points out Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will be joining them soon. He just had something to take care of beforehand.
In his therapist’s office, Billy will open up about going somewhere dark. He’ll tell Dr. Clay (Sandra Thigpen) about feeling like two separate people and battling the worst part of himself. Meanwhile, Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) will make an admission to Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy). He’ll confess that Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) looks exactly like Hilary Hamilton (Mishael Morgan).
Devon will feel like Amanda was chosen specifically to mess with him. He’ll be determined to figure out who’s to blame and confront him or her. A little later, Elena will talk to Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) about this Hilary doppelganger. He’ll admit he ran into Amanda, and Devon’s right about them looking like twins. Somebody is playing a cruel and twisted game, so Elena and Nate will remain concerned.
At the coffeehouse, Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) will discuss all the Adam and Victoria drama with Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson). He’ll also bring up Chloe’s hard work to help Billy. Kevin will contend that Chloe deserves a medal, but she’ll have something else in mind. They’ll book a suite at the GCAC so they can get steamy.
At Adam’s penthouse, Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will urge him to help Victoria. Adam will wonder what he’d get out of that, so Sharon will insist he’d get her. She’ll contend that she can there for Adam as a friend or even his conscience. Adam will mention his proposal to Sharon and push her to admit she still loves him. When Sharon refuses, Adam will suggest she should leave if she can’t offer all of herself.
Y&R spoilers say Sharon will head for the exit, but she’ll make it clear that Adam’s making a mistake. She cares, but Adam won’t feel like it’s enough. Sharon will contend that she can’t give up everything for Adam; she won’t alienate everyone in her life. Adam will argue that they’d have each other, but Sharon just won’t be on board.
Talk will turn to Adam’s family, so he’ll assure Sharon he has no intention of making peace with them. Sharon will ask if Adam’s really satisfied with this empty life, but Adam will be reminded of their conversation in Vegas. He trusted Sharon when she encouraged him to go after more, but he’s done now. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Adam will tell Sharon goodbye.
Back at the Grand Phoenix, Devon will offer Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) his sympathy before discussing Elena’s birthday party. Abby will suggest it should move forward as planned. Meanwhile, Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) will spot Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and offer condolences. She’ll reflect on some memories before turning her attention to Billy. He’ll note that he’s seeking help and has Victoria in his life where she belongs.
Next, Jill will meet up with Devon to discuss Amanda and who’s behind this. Despite the fact that she can’t get in touch with Chance Chancellor, Jill still won’t believe he’s to blame. As for Hilary’s lookalike, Jill will suggest Devon should just send Amanda her way if she gives him any more problems.
Back with Abby, she’ll hate all this deception surrounding Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) death. Abby will fret to Nate about Summer Newman (Hunter King) not knowing the truth. She’ll also fear Nate will pay for his role in the scheme, but he’ll feel he has to protect his patient from Adam.
Other Young and the Restless spoilers say Jill will meet back up with Nikki, and they’ll watch Victoria share a close moment with Billy. It’ll give Nikki and Jill hope for the crazy world they live in. We’ll give you updates as other Y&R news comes in.
