The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that a storm’s brewing for Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle), so we have to wonder…can they survive it? Lola was pleased when Kyle was honest about what happened in New York, but he didn’t tell her the whole truth. There’s more to the story, and it’s destined to come out in the near future.
According to Soap Opera Digest, Anna Grace Barlow has scored the role of Zoe Hardisty. She’ll make her Y&R debut on August 15, but she’ll only be around for a few episodes.
However, that’s plenty of time for Zoe to turn Kyle and Lola’s world upside down! It turns out Zoe “will share a surprising connection with a member of Genoa City’s jet set.”
Theo Vanderway Will Continue To Stir The Pot For Kyle Abbott
Word has it Zoe will be brought in the mix by Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson), who’s determined to stir the pot for Kyle. Zoe seemingly ties in with this mysterious New York incident, which Kyle’s desperate to keep under wraps. He should really just come clean to Lola and try to help her understand, but this shocker’s bound to blow up instead.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Kyle’s bachelor party is indeed coming, but what about the wedding? Will that their nuptials be derailed by the bombshell? This engagement was obviously rushed, and that may because Y&R never intended for them to go through with it. If Lola finds out what really happened before the wedding, she may call it off and at least take some time to think about this.
Of course, the CBS soap has been pretty committed to “Kola” so far. Some viewers find them boring while others find them adorable. It all depends on your perspective, but The Young and the Restless didn’t properly play up the love triangle angle when Summer Newman (Hunter King) was in the mix. They quickly backed away from “Skyle” and went all in on Kyle’s relationship with Lola.
Will Kyle Abbott Break Summer Newman’s Heart All Over Again?
Could this provide a second chance for fans of the Summer and Kyle pairing? That’s one possibility to consider. It’s also possible Kyle and Lola will work through their issues sooner or later and not break up.
There could even be a mixture of the two scenarios if Kyle gets back together with Summer only to break her heart all over again. Kyle could easily drift back in Lola’s direction if she offers forgiveness.
