Jax confronts Tom Sandoval for questioning his engagement to Brittany, while Scheana finds herself attracted to her “best friend” Adam Spott. James Kennedy finds himself cut off from everyone at SUR, but Lisa vows not to give up on her former DJ.”

Lisa Vanderpump brought everyone together in honor of her Vanderpump Dog Foundation. The Foundation was doing its best to stop the torture of these poor defenseless animals that were ultimately eaten every year in some horrible tradition. It was wrong and Lisa wanted to stop it. She talked to her people from Sur and even reached out to people she hated like Kirsten because she wanted as much support to end the tradition as humanly possible. Lisa had put together an amazing campaign and everyone had enjoyed coming together but then James came. He brought up a lot of unhappy memories and the majority of everyone there had been happy to hear that he got fired. They thought it was amazing that they would never have to run into him again and so that brought up they all forgot about.
It brought up the party. The party that Ariana and Stassi were putting together and one in which they wanted everyone to have a fun time. Both ladies realized that couldn’t happen if James showed and so Ariana disinvited him. James had been shocked because he thought he and Ariana were pretty good friends, but then she went ahead with disinviting him because she hadn’t wanted to rattle things with the others. It had ticked off James and he called Ariana a follower for what she did. He also quickly left the event and it wasn’t fair to Lisa. Lisa believed in James and had tried repeatedly been there for him. James could have all the support in the world if he wanted it and he kept pushing it away. And so he only had himself to blame for why he was losing everything.
Lisa had tried again to help James when she reached out to his mother. His mother has been clean for nine months and she needed to be there for her son. James has no respect for women and he was drinking again. He became a different person when he drinks and, without booze, he could go back to how he used to be. James used to be sweet and he had revered Lisa. Lisa was apparently the only mother figure he had growing up and that was something his mother says. She wasn’t there for her son because she was constantly relapsing and so she didn’t think she was a strong enough figure in his life to helping him now. James needed someone to take him in hand and it had to be his parents.
Lisa went to Schwartz and Tom as well. They were James’s friends and had seemed like they cared about him. So Lisa asked them to intervene as well. She wanted them to talk to James and they agreed to do it before the three of them did inventory for their new club. They had shared some laughs because Schwartz thought he was better at math than he really was and so it wasn’t all serious when they were together. Lisa visited James afterward and she told him about her meeting with his mother. It seems his mother wasn’t the only one that was trying to get back on her feet. His father was doing the same and so it had been up to James to take care of his family. And Lisa thought that was very sweet him seeing as he could have used that to fight for his job and he didn’t because he knew he was in the wrong.
James has been the one everyone claimed they needed to be worried about and it turns out he took not going to the party really well. He didn’t even mind that his girlfriend Raquel went and so Raquel ended up having a good time. She had shared a drink with Kristen and the two had laughed about roofies. Luckily, no roofies were actually used at the party and so Raquel enjoyed herself until she suddenly stopped. It might have been all the alcohol involved only she wasn’t alone in kicking off. Raquel had wanted to defend her man and so she at least had a good excuse while Lala was just being a troublemaker. Lala had told Brittany what Tom and Ariana were saying behind their backs about the engagement and so neither Brittany nor Jax could feel comfortable around the couple at the party.
