Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease come huge Comings & Goings news – viewers will see the departure of three beloved characters by the time fall rolls around. As DOOL viewers know, Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) recently left canvas, taking Rachel Black with her and leaving Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) behind. That was a big loss for DOOL fans, although Haiduk is supposed make a brief return, and as you might have heard, there will be some more losses later on this summer as we approach autumn.
First off, Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) will be exiting canvas. So far, the show is mum about exactly how Rafe will be leaving, but it seems pretty likely at this point that he could lose David Ridgeway (Kyler Ends) to Zoey Burge (Alyshia Osche).
As DOOL viewers know, since Jordan Ridgeway’s (Chrishell Stause) death, Rafe has wanted nothing more than to adopt David and continue to raise the little boy as his own.
But now that Zoey is in the picture, things look pretty bleak for Rafe on the adoption front. After all, Zoey is David’s next of kin, and it would seem that the court might favor Zoey in the battle for David.
Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of June 8th say that Rafe will be dealt a huge blow, so it looks like his dreams of adopting and raising David may be shattered.
So, what does all this mean for Rafe? Well, assuming he does lose David, Rafe could decide to up and leave Salem. It would make sense that Rafe could decide to go away and start over somewhere else, where he’s not faced with constant reminders of his life with David around him,
We’ll see what happens here, but whatever the case, big changes seem to be in store for Rafe.
Another major change that will take place in Salem this autumn will be the departure of a popular couple. DOOL spoilers say that Will Horton (Chandler Massey) and Sonny Kiriakis (Freddie Smith) will leave for parts unknown sometime this fall, so it looks like their storyline will wrap up toward the end of summer.
And speaking of Will and Sonny’s storyline, they’re about to get a big one, since Will’s younger sister Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) is about to show up on the Salem scene nearly nine months pregnant and willing to let “WilSon” adopt her baby.
It really will be a win-win situation for everyone, since Will and Sonny can be doting dads to the baby, while Allie can remain a presence in the baby’s life going forward.
But given that Will and Sonny will be leaving Salem, it seems safe to assume that they’ll be taking the baby with them, and possibly even Ari Horton (Sydney Brower) as well.
Perhaps “WilSon” will decide that they need to start over somewhere else with their kids, and if things with Gabi DiMera (Camila Banus) continue to get dangerous with Jake Lambert (Brandon Barash) and his mob connections, it might make sense for Ari to leave the Salem scene for a while.
Hopefully, Will and Sonny leaving Salem will be a happy event, so that viewers can see them leave on a pleasant note. Going off to get away from all the Horton and Kiriakis drama and live a quiet life with their kids would be a pretty good way to go…and it could easily open the door for a return down the line, which is something that many DOOL fans would absolutely love.
