Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that with so many exits coming up, it’s easy to forget or miss some of the return news. DOOL still has some exciting comebacks in the works, so you might be wondering who’s headed home to Salem and when. We’ve got the scoop on seven big returns, so here’s what you need to know.
Let’s start with Jay Kenneth Johnson, who’s coming back as Philip Kiriakis starting August 18. Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) popped up in New York recently to discuss Eve Donovan (Kassie DePaiva), but she’ll be back for a longer stint down the road. However, it doesn’t look like Chloe will be part of the Salem scene until October or so.
Bjorlin didn’t film much if at all before the shutdown, but she’s supposed to be back on set when production resumes in September. That’s great news for Philip and Chloe fans since a love story seems to be in the works.
In the meantime, we should talk about Marci Miller’s return as Abigail DiMera. There’s no official first airdate back for Miller’s Abigail yet, but it appears she’ll be back around late August or early September. As for Eduardo Hernandez (A Martinez), look for him to resurface this month to pave the way for some major exits.
Eduardo’s return will likely tie in with the departures of Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) and Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus).
Will Horton (Chandler Massey) and Sonny Kiriakis (Freddie Smith) have some trouble in their future, so they might get caught in Eduardo drama, too. Regardless, Eduardo’s August return should set the stage for disaster.
Next, Days of Our Lives spoilers say Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) and Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) will make comebacks of their own. September is the estimated return airdate for these two – although it doesn’t look like Kristen will stick around.
Brady, on the other hand, should remain in Salem. Martsolf has also confirmed that he’ll be reporting to set once the show’s back in production, so there’s more in store for Brady. That brings us to the seventh return on this list. We’ve got Philip, Chloe, Abigail, Eduardo, Brady, Kristen and – wait for it – Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams).
Although there’s no official confirmation on Tripp’s comeback just yet, Days of Our Lives insiders strongly hint that it’s happening. Adams himself has also offered clues by following Lindsay Arnold (Allie Horton) and Isabel Durant (Claire Brady recast) on Instagram.
We feel confident Adams filmed as Tripp before the shutdown, so a September or October return sounds about right.
There’s a good chance Tripp will return to Salem for some baby drama, so he’s likely the father of Allie’s newborn son. As for any other comebacks that might be ahead, there could certainly be some surprises.
Days has been known to pull off a few of those, so it’ll be interesting to see who else pops up. We’ll be sure to pass along DOOL updates as they come in.
