Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that a DNA test may eventually prove Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) has some jumbled memories. Allie’s been adamant that Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams) raped her – and she doesn’t think there’s any chance her baby belongs to another man.
Allie told Lani Price-Grant (Sal Stowers) that she hadn’t slept with anyone else, so Tripp’s her only suspect.
Of course, there are going to be questions if a paternity test proves Tripp isn’t the father. Allie may need to dig deeper and unblock more memories of what happened that night.
Based on Tripp’s side of the story, it’s easy to see how there would be confusion. Tripp admitted that Allie initiated a kiss, so he kissed back for a few seconds – but it never went any further according to him.
Allie’s talked about remembering a hand on her wrist, so that may have been Tripp stopping that kiss. Tripp assured Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) that he had no idea why Allie was mad, especially since he was trying to do the right thing and not take advantage of her.
Allie may be confusing Tripp’s portion of the night with what came afterward. After all, Allie pointed out that she had a lot of offers to dance on any given night. She was pretty popular around the club scene, so there could’ve been someone watching and waiting.
Perhaps another man followed Tripp and Allie home hoping he could take advantage of Allie after Tripp did the right thing.
If the DNA test results prove Tripp isn’t the father and those results haven’t been tampered with, then someone else has to be Henry Horton’s (Jayna and Kinsley Fox) bio dad.
From there, Days of Our Lives spoilers suggest Allie may have to figure out who her real rapist is. Since Allie needs more memories to do that, maybe Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) could prove helpful.
DOOL fans know Marlena often uses hypnosis as a tactic to bring back blocked memories. Anytime a patient or someone close to her needs to remember, Marlena can hypnotize him or her to learn additional details.
It’s proven quite successful on Days in the past, so Allie may turn to Grandma Marlena for help recalling what actually went down that night.
