Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) will be rattled after a run-in with Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams). Tripp will grow confused over Allie’s hostile demeanor and will end up grabbing her arm. DOOL viewers can expect Allie to face a horrible memory flood about the night she met Tripp in London.
Allie will eventually recall that Tripp raped her that night, which led to her pregnancy. She feared she wouldn’t be believed and didn’t report it, so she just bottled up what happened. It’ll all come back to Allie after this alarming encounter.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Allie will want justice what Tripp did to her – and it looks like she’ll seek Claire Brady’s (Isabel Durant) to get it. Claire’s bound to be shocked and appalled when she gets updates from Allie.
After all, Tripp acted sympathetic after he found out Chase Jennings (Jonathon McClendon) raped Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal). Plus, Tripp was always portrayed as a fairly good guy with the exception of few incidents like threatening Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans) with a scalpel.
There’s no denying that it’s incredibly out of character for Tripp to rape Allie, but Days writers can make a character say and do whatever they want for story purposes.
It’s also possible they want to show that sometimes a character can be a wolf in sheep’s clothing. Plenty of women have become victims of rapists they thought were decent men, so that might be the angle DOOL wants to work here.
However, Tripp’s confusion over Allie’s hostility is worth noting. Why would Tripp be confused if he raped Allie? Wouldn’t Tripp know that’s exactly why Allie’s angry with him? Days of Our Lives could be offering a hint that perhaps Allie will remember some of the details wrong.
It’s possible another more traditionally “evil” character – like Evan Frears aka Christian Maddox (Brock Kelly) – actually raped Allie. Tripp might’ve come along and helped Allie afterward, but she may not recall the whole incident exactly right if she was drunk or drugged.
Of course, this seems like a pretty terrible story any way you slice it. If Allie’s right, then Tripp is scum and Days fans are going to hate his guts. If Allie’s wrong, it seemingly sends the awful message of not believing rape victims because they might not remember the incident correctly.
Either way, Allie will believe Tripp raped her at this point in the storyline and will want him to pay the price for it. We’ll fill you in as other DOOL news becomes available.
