Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) is going to have a seriously emotional next couple of weeks (July 27 – August 7). As DOOL viewers know, Allie has just had a big scare when she was in the church when it exploded right after Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) and Ciara Brady Weston’s (Victoria Konefal) wedding. The good news here is that Allie and the baby ended up being fine, but there were a few tense moments there for sure.
Well, in the week to come, Allie is going to have another difficult situation to deal with concerning her mom Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney). Allie and Sami will argue fiercely, and that will send Allie straight into labor.
By the end of the week of July 27th, a new little Horton baby will enter the world, and according to DOOL spoilers, Will Horton (Chandler Massey) and Sonny Kiriakis (Freddie Smith) will go forward with plans to adopt the new little bundle of joy.
But there could very well be some trouble ahead for both Allie and “WilSon” with respect to the baby and the adoption. There’s a big wild card that Allie has refused to discuss and that everyone has been tiptoeing around, and that’s issue of the baby’s father.
Given that no one but Allie knows who the father is, nobody really knows whether he’s liable to come searching for his baby once he finds out that Allie gave birth.
In fact, it would be just like Will or Sonny (or even Sami) to post a picture of the new baby on social media, tipping off the father that Allie was pregnant and gave birth to his child.
And since nothing is easy on soaps, that could very well send the baby daddy straight to Salem looking to put a quick end to the adoption on the grounds that he should have custody of the baby if Allie doesn’t want it.
Well, that could cause a real firestorm, especially where Sami is concerned. According to DOOL spoilers, Sami will be sticking around Salem for a while, which means that if the father does come looking for his child, Sami will probably still be around.
And that could lead to some big confrontations, as well as a legal drama for Will and Sonny going forward.
In fact, the whole thing could make Allie rethink her decision to let “WilSon” adopt the baby, since she’d probably have a better chance in a custody fight against the father than Will and Sonny would.
Perhaps once the father shows up, Allie will go all protective mom and decide that she needs to stand up and fight for her baby and keep him or her.
However the whole thing goes down, we know that Will and Sonny are set to leave canvas this autumn, and at the point, it’s possible that they could leave either with or without the baby.
We could see a scenario unfold where Will and Sonny leave happily with the baby and with Ari Horton (Sydney Brower) for a new life somewhere, or they could leave because they’re so distraught over losing the baby in the fight when the father returns.
We’ll see what happens here, but there are certainly plenty of options for big drama if the father of Allie’s baby does arrive on the scene at some point. Do you think that the baby daddy will turn up in Salem looking for his child?
