Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Charlie Dale (Mike Manning) recently met several of Claire Brady’s (Isabel Durant) family members. Charlie hit a couple snags during his grilling session with Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) and John Black (Drake Hogestyn), but it went pretty well overall.
Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) later noted that Charlie seems sweet and appears to really care about Claire.
Of course, there’s one family member that Charlie hasn’t met yet – and that’s Claire’s cousin, Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold). This is interesting since Days writers have been strengthening the bond between Allie and Claire lately.
With Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal) out of the picture, Allie is sliding in Claire’s best friend spot. Jan Spears (Heather Lindell) tried to claim that spot for herself, but she was obviously just manipulating Claire. It’s Allie who’s a true pal and someone who’s come to appreciate Claire’s support lately.
Now that Claire and Charlie have made things official, it’s only a matter of time until Claire introduces Charlie to Allie. Claire will certainly want her best gal pal to meet her new boyfriend. DOOL writers have made sure to keep Allie out of Charlie’s orbit – and we suspect there’s a good reason why.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams) almost certainly wasn’t the guy behind Allie’s assault in London. However, Allie knows a man held her down and forced himself on her. Henry Horton (Jayna and Kinsley Fox) exists, so we know an encounter actually happened.
Since Tripp is apparently innocent, that means someone else has to be guilty. The most logical outcome here is that Charlie is related to Tripp, which would explain the shared DNA with Henry angle. Charlie makes the most sense as the one who attacked Allie – and there are even a couple new clues to back that up.
During Charlie’s recent chat with Claire, he alluded to problems with misreading signals from women. Charlie also confessed that he’d made mistakes with girls in the past, so the rapist evidence keeps piling up.
It seems safe to assume Charlie will be revealed as Allie’s assaulter down the road, so could his first meeting with Allie trigger some memory flashes?
Allie instantly recognized and blamed Tripp when she saw him, but it seems that night is jumbled up in her mind. Seeing Charlie again could bring a flash of recognition – maybe not enough to know exactly what happened, but enough to know Allie’s seen him before.
Allie might even pick up on a bad vibe about Charlie without really knowing why. Whatever the case, Days of Our Lives spoilers say Allie and Charlie have to meet sooner or later.
Once that first encounter happens, it could be the start of the real story coming out. Allie may eventually face a memory flood and remember Charlie was the one who came after her in London.
