Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Arianne Zucker (Nicole Walker) recently showed another DOOL star some love. Nicole and Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) may be at odds on Days most of the time, but they’re actually good pals offscreen.
In a recent issue of Soap Opera Digest, Zucker was asked which former costar she misses most and why. She picked Haiduk and explained a little more about their friendship, which seems awfully sweet! Zucker insisted that they “bonded so quickly” and that bond continued to grow over the course of almost two years. “We just connect,” Zucker admitted.
Zucker went on to talk about how they serve as mentors to each other, so it sounds like both Zucker and Haiduk give great guidance. These Days of Our Lives costars simply click according to Zucker. “We have so many things in common about how we’re bettering ourselves as women,” the DOOL actress said.
Although Zucker keeps in touch with Haiduk when she’s not on set, she confessed it’s not quite the same! “And, of course, we can have those conversations over the phone, but there’s just something about being in person with each other. She has a heck of an energy. I miss that.”
If multiple leaked set photos are any indication, Kristen should be returning to Days this summer. Sadly, it sounds like that comeback may not last too long. Keep in mind Days of Our Lives filmed what’s playing out onscreen many months in advance.
Naturally, the door’s never closed on Kristen and her future in Salem. Kristen’s an important character, so DOOL will inevitably keep making her part of the action. There are always going to be return stints for someone like Kristen, so fans can anxiously await those.
As for Nicole, she’ll have a wedding to plan soon enough. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) will pop the question during the week of May 25-29, so that’ll kick off the next chapter for “Ericole.” Let’s hope it’s a happy and long-lasting one!
