Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that there’s plenty of action in store for the week of August 10-14 on the NBC soap. As DOOL viewers know, we’ve had a lot of movement on key storylines over the past week with Ben Weston’s (Robert Scott Wilson) kidnapping, and with Allie Horton’s (Lindsay Arnold) baby delivery and all the drama surrounding that.
The new DOOL spoiler photos give us a clue of what the action will look like during the week of August 10-14, so let’s take a look at what’s in store!
Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Gabi & Jake Have A Huge Blowup
First off, Gabi DiMera (Camila Banus) and Jake Lambert (Brandon Barash) will be at each other’s throats again. As DOOL viewers know, Gabi and Jake seem to love to hate each other, which is very reminiscent of how Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) and Gabi first got together.
Well, it looks like Gabi and Jake will have a major blow-up after their dinner out at the Bistro with Li Shin (Remington Hoffman) and the persnickety investor who wants to do business with DiMera Enterprises. Jake, looking very Stefan-like in Stefan’s suit, is shown yelling at Gabi outside of the Bistro.
Clearly, something major is going to go down between Jake and Gabi. Perhaps Jake will realize what Gabi did – that is, that she used Jake to woo the investor who was supposed to meet with Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn).
Gabi deliberately shut Chad out of the dinner by moving the meeting without his knowledge. Jake might get peeved to have been used to go behind his new brother’s back, so that could be what the blowup is all about.
Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Gabi & Jake Get Surprising News
By week’s end, Gabi and Jake will get surprising news about something, and the photo accompanying this spoiler shows Gabi and Jake in a DiMera bedroom looking pretty serious over something.
But what could their surprising news be? It might be a stretch, but perhaps Jake’s big meeting with the investor will have gone splendidly from the investor’s standpoint.
Could Li request that Jake get more involved with DiMera Enterprises? Maybe Jake will be a natural at business dealings, surprising everyone involved! We’ll see what happens here.
Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Kate Recounts To Abe Her Bitter Rivalry With Vivian
In other matters, Kate DiMera (Lauren Koslow) will have some information to impart on her boss, Abe Carver (James Reynolds). For some reason, Kate will tell Abe all about her sordid history with Vivian Alamain (Louise Sorel).
The rationale for this might well be due to the fact that Kate’s son Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson) will soon be back on canvas. Philip is due back in Salem during the week of August 17-21, and long-time DOOL viewers will remember that while Kate is Philip’s mother, Vivian was the surrogate who carried Philip to term.
But Vivian wasn’t just any old surrogate. Vivian deliberately had herself implanted with Kate and Victor Kiriakis’ (John Aniston) embryo so that she could be the “mother” of Victor’s child.
It was quite the scandal, and things between Kate and Vivian have been horrible ever since. At any rate, it looks like Kate will school Abe about all of her history with Vivian, and who knows, it could bring Abe and Kate closer as they continue to work together.
Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Rafe & Hope Get Close
Next, look for some interesting moments between Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso) and Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering). These exes have spent quite a bit of time together lately, with Hope stepping in and helping Rafe cope with the loss of David Ridgeway (Kyler Ends) from his day-to-day life.
Well, it seems that Rafe and Hope will continue to grow closer during the week of August 10-14, and they’re shown in the newest Days weekly promo getting close enough to nearly kiss.
But will Hope and Rafe succumb to their momentary feelings? Sure, they’re on good terms now, but their past relationship was pretty rocky, and they might not be willing to go down that path again. Ongoing DOOL spoilers that Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans) and Jennifer Deveraux (Melissa Reeves) will soon have a serious conversation with Hope about her closeness to Rafe during the week of August 17-21, so we might just see some familiar sparks fly!

Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Ben Has A Nightmare of Strangling Ciara
Finally, Ben is going to have some serious struggles as he tries to return to normal after his kidnapping ordeal. Ben was rescued by Hope and Ciara Weston (Victoria Konefal), but it was after Eve Donovan (Kassie DePaiva) and her henchman Vincent (Michael Teh) really ramped up their efforts at conditioning Ben to want to kill Ciara.
It seems that Ben will have some real difficulty in trying to be intimate with Ciara, and he won’t really know why.
Ben knows that something horrible was done to him, but his memories of what happened are compromised due to the drugs Eve and Vincent administered to him during their psychological manipulation techniques.
It looks like one of the first signs that something’s very wrong will be that Ben has a terrible nightmare that he’s strangling Ciara. This should be sufficiently horrible for Ben, and he’ll seek help from Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) as a result. But unfortunately, the nightmare will only be the beginning of his problems!
