Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that a big reveal is coming up on the NBC soap, but you won’t be too surprised if you’ve been following our posts here at CDL. Charlie Dale (Mike Manning) has been suspicious from the get-go due to the timing of his introduction and all the clues Days has offered.
As CDL predicted, Charlie isn’t the sweet, simple guy he appears to be.
On the December 11 episode, Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) had a strong reaction to the news that Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams) was accused of assaulting Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) in London. That location definitely mattered to Ava, who started working out the details of this mystery.
Once Ava was alone, she quickly got on the phone and made a hateful call. Ava warned the person on the other end to call her back the minute he got her message and added that she wasn’t kidding around!
Based on how Ava spoke, she was quite familiar with the person receiving her voicemail.
DOOL’s weekly extended promo proves it’s Charlie that Ava’s looking for. “Here I am,” Charlie says with a shrug on Ava’s doorstep.
Ava clearly suspects Charlie is behind the assault in London – and Days of Our Lives spoilers say Ava will find out the truth during the week of December 14-18.
It looks like Charlie will come clean once he’s confronted by Ava, so let’s talk about what all this means.
Ava clearly knows Charlie was in London last Christmas and suspects he’s behind the attack. That means Ava also knows why Tripp Dalton’s (Lucas Adams) DNA test was a match, even though he never slept with Allie.
After Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans) ran multiple DNA tests, she insisted that Tripp indeed shared DNA with Henry Horton (Jayna and Kinsley Fox).
Tripp argued that couldn’t possibly be true, but Kayla confirmed that the only other person who’d give that kind of match would be Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols).
That reveals Henry’s got some Johnson blood in him! Obviously, we know Tripp isn’t the father and Steve isn’t the father. All signs point to Charlie being another son of Ava and Steve’s, so making him Tripp’s fraternal twin is the easiest explanation.
That’s how it adds up for Charlie to be Allie’s attacker and the father of Baby Henry. Naturally, there must be quite a story behind why Ava has kept this twin quiet and why she apparently disapproves of him.
