Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) will find himself in need of a love interest. After Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal) exits, who will Ben be paired up with next? Of course, Days will undoubtedly let Ben mope alone for a while. Ben will have to say goodbye to the love of his life, so it’ll be tough for him to figure out a way forward.
However, someone surprising may be able to help. Right now, the idea of pairing up Ben with Claire Brady (Olivia Rose Keegan) seems crazy, but it won’t seem so crazy down the road.
Suspicious Ben’s been flinging accusations at Claire ever since she got out of Bayview. There’s lots of tension between them, but that’s often used as a soapy setup for a new romance.
Plus, it looks like Claire will emerge as the hero of Ben’s next story. Ben will be held hostage – presumably by Eve Donovan (Kassie DePaiva) – after the “Cin” wedding explosion. Claire will eventually patch things up with Ciara and help crack the case of where Ben is.
In the end, Ben will have to admit he was wrong and apologize to Claire for thinking the worst. Days of Our Lives seems to be setting Ben and Claire up for a clean slate. This is certainly the kind of thing that could lead to a new romantic chapter.
Since Ciara is headed for the exit door, Ben will lose his true love and Claire will lose her best friend. There’s already an easy way for Claire and Ben to bond. Plus, Claire’s often fallen for the same guys as Ciara in the past. It’s been a huge part of their feud.
Since Claire fell for Theo Carver (Kyler Pettis) and Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams) just like Ciara, why wouldn’t she fall for Ben, too? It’s safe to say Claire’s family wouldn’t be pleased by this romantic development, so it might even be a secret romance initially. It’d be fun to watch Ben and Claire struggle to fight what they’re feeling.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say a Claire recast is on the way. DOOL might’ve chosen someone they think would be a good fit for Ben. There must be a reason Claire will remain on canvas instead of heading back to Hong Kong, so perhaps Ben and Claire are headed for a new love story.
