Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that it’s time to brace for what’s seemingly inevitable. DOOL viewers know Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal) has been presumed dead, so Ben’s being pushed to move on. Of course, Ciara almost certainly is alive and being held hostage, but Ben can’t know that at this point in the story.
Meanwhile, we’ve got Claire Brady (Isabel Durant) for Ben to lean on. Claire also happens to be in a doomed relationship with Charlie Dale (Mike Manning) since there’s an extremely good chance he’s Allie Horton’s (Lindsay Arnold) attacker.
When you throw in the fact that Claire is Ciara’s bestie and they’ve often gone after the same men, it’s easy to see where all of this is headed.
It’s highly likely Ben and Claire will hook up before Ciara reenters the picture. Some “Cin” fans are adamant that it won’t happen, but we have to remember that Ciara, Ben and Claire are all at the writers’ mercy.
It’s unreasonable to say Ben would never sleep with Claire since Ben will do exactly what the writing team tells him to do, even if it’s out of character or an unpopular decision.
Besides, it’s not like Ben will technically be doing anything wrong if he hits the sheets with Claire. As far as Ben knows, Ciara is gone forever. Ben is grieving and in need of comfort.
Once Claire realizes Charlie isn’t the fantastic guy he seems to be, it’ll make perfect sense for Ben and Claire to gravitate toward each other even more. There’ll be a mutual need to feel something other than pain.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say all signs point to Ben and Claire potentially hooking up, but that doesn’t mean Claire is the one who’ll be in Ben’s heart.
Claire will just be someone to help fill the void until Ciara finally returns. You can bet Ben will drop Claire like a hot potato once his wife comes back to him!
However, that could leave Ben and Claire with a shocking secret down the road. Will they end up burying their passion after Ciara returns? Will Claire and Ben try to keep Ciara in the dark to avoid hurting her?
If so, that could certainly set up a major Days revelation – one that could reignite Ciara’s feud with Claire in a big way!
