Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) may find himself in familiar territory. DOOL fans know Ben and Ciara Weston (Victoria Konefal) have a habit of coming to each other’s rescue.
In fact, Ben and Ciara’s romance first began when he found her after a motorcycle crash. Ben scooped unconscious Ciara up, carried her to the cabin and the rest is history!
Of course, we know Eve Donovan’s (Kassie DePaiva) been putting Ciara and Ben through their worst crisis yet. Due to Vincent’s (Michael Teh) brainwashing, Ben took Ciara to Paige Larson’s (True O’Brien) old dorm room with the intention of killing her.
This is quite the switch from Ben’s usual protective mode, but he’s not to blame – and it won’t last long.
After Ciara disappears, Ben will be left to figure out exactly what happened during their last encounter. There’ll be plenty of unanswered questions thanks to Ben’s blackout. Ben won’t know for sure if Ciara’s dead or alive, but he’ll hold onto hope that it’s the latter.
Once Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) helps Ben recapture some lost memories, he’ll remember something significant – perhaps something that could point Ben in Vincent’s direction. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Ciara will be held hostage by Vincent, so Ben may wind up on a desperate mission to save her.
Since we know Victoria Konefal’s exiting as Ciara soon, this could be Ben’s final recue – at least for a while. Ben will certainly worry about what Vincent might do. Since the plan for Ben to kill Ciara didn’t pan out, Ben will undoubtedly fear that Vincent’s going to finish her off!
As Ben’s memories start falling into place, he may follow Vincent’s trail. This could lead to Ben bursting in Vincent’s new hideout to save his love. Maybe Days could offer one last rescue and reunion before Ciara departs. It’d be good to give “Cin” some closure before this DOOL storyline concludes.
This could ultimately bring a deep discussion about where things stand between Ben and Ciara. Once Ciara’s free, she might make the difficult decision to create some distance. As much as Ciara wants to have faith in Ben, she may struggle to shake those horrifying moments when he wasn’t himself.
Then again, maybe it’ll be Ben who pulls away – suddenly full of doubts and concerns for Ciara’s safety. Ben might beat himself up for letting all this go as far as it did, even though that wasn’t his fault. There’s also the matter of any deprogramming Ben might have to go through, which could take some time.
This would be a bittersweet end to “Cin.” Days could have Ciara bid Ben farewell – maybe with the promise that this is simply goodbye for now. Ciara might hope they can still be together after Ben’s deprogrammed and she’s had a chance to cope with the trauma of his murder attempt.
