Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that a big romantic reunion is coming. As DOOL viewers know, Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) just hasn’t been able to get Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) out of his head. When she returned to Salem from her stint as a nun in Rome, she was (and still is) determined to get back together with Brady no matter what, but he has seriously resisted her efforts.
In fact, Brady even went so far as to pretend to be in a hot and heavy relationship with Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) in order to deter Kristen from pursuing him.
Of course, that didn’t work, since there’s really nothing that could keep Kristen from wanting Brady. And recently, the two reconnected as they finally spent some time together grieving for the loss of their daughter. It really drew them together and was a catharsis that both of them needed.
Well, according to the new DOOL promo for the week of February 3rd, Brady and Kristen will decide to give their relationship another go.
Of course, Brady was the holdout that was keeping them from moving forward, but the promo is clear that Brady has changed his mind, as he says, “I think the we deserve another chance, don’t you?” Kristen positively beams, and it looks like they’ll be officially back together.
This is all well and good, but secrets tend to be bad for relationships, and Kristen’s got a big one. She knows that her father, Stefano DiMera is back and is inhabiting Steve Johnson’s (Stephen Nichols) body.
Kristen recently had a big reunion with Stefano during which she pledged her loyalty to her father. Now Stevano is on a dangerous mission to be reunited with Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) and to wreak havoc on people who Brady knows and loves.
Of course, Marlena is like a mother to Brady, so when the day comes that Steve is revealed to Salem as actually being Stefano, and it’s revealed that he kidnapped Marlena, it’s going to come as a real shock to Brady. But it will be an even bigger shock when Brady finds out that Kristen knew about Stevano all along.
Of course, Kristen might not cop to the fact that she knew of her father’s charade as Steve. But something tells us that Brady will probably put two and two together and realize that Kristen probably knew, or at least knew about the possibility that Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (William Utay) had Stefano’s memories and personality in a form that could be implanted into someone else.
So, we might not see Bristen’s relationship last for very long, depending on exactly when this secret about Stefano comes out. Brady always seems to get burned by Kristen after he repeatedly takes her back…and it looks like the pattern may continue.
