Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that John Black’s (Drake Hogestyn) upcoming medical crisis should bring a reality check for Brady Black (Eric Martsolf). DOOL fans know Brady was feeling lost and alone without Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) and their daughter, Rachel DiMera Black.
After Kristen showed up in Salem before Lani Price’s (Sal Stowers) wedding, she shared a powerful reunion with Brady. In fact, it was so powerful that Brady didn’t want it to end!
Although Brady acknowledged that perhaps it wouldn’t be forever, he acted on impulse and just followed his heart. Brady, Kristen and Rachel have been living in a blissful bubble somewhere, but that bubble is about to burst!
Days of Our Lives spoilers say John’s sudden collapse will cause chaos during the week of August 17-21. It’ll leave John hospitalized and fighting for his life.
John’s one of the people Brady cares about most in this world, so he can’t just ignore his dad’s crisis. Somebody will surely get in touch with Brady about what John’s up against.
Whether that’s Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall), Belle Black (Martha Madison) or someone else, Brady should get some devastating news.
This could make Brady realize he can’t live life on the run with Kristen indefinitely. It should at least make Brady realize he’s been far too out of the loop in Salem.
Brady’s already been missing weddings and other important family events. Once Brady learns John’s in the hospital and presumably comatose, it may bring him rushing home to sit by his father’s bedside.
It’s easy to imagine Brady battling guilt over not being around lately. Brady may vow to change that once John wakes up and recovers, but there’ll be some scary Days moments in the meantime.
As for Kristen, how will she fit in all this? Days of Our Lives spoilers say Kristen will return as well, but there are a couple ways DOOL could make that happen.
It’s possible we’ll just see Kristen with Brady when he gets a phone call about John. Kristen might urge Brady to go home and be with his father. They could make plans to meet up again at a later date.
Then again, Kristen might sneak back to Salem with Brady. That’d be risky since Kristen could get caught, but it’s a risk Kristen has taken before.
Regardless, Days spoilers say Brady and Kristen have appearances coming up around late August or the beginning of September. We’ll pass along updates as other details emerge.
