Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that some major romantic shakeups are brewing on the NBC soap. Some couples will survive and thrive, but others will fall apart. If Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) and Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal) wind up being in the latter category, who could Ciara be paired up with next? There might be an interesting possibility to consider thanks to another crumbling couple.
DOOL fans know Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) acted weird during a recent conversation with Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford). Chad seemed uncomfortable with Jack’s comments about him being a good husband and the best choice to be with Abigail DiMera (Kate Mansi). It could be a sign that Abigail’s putting walls up and pushing for a divorce.
Marci Miller’s set to reprise the role of Abigail down the road, but her return could involve major “Chabby” drama. After all, it’d be pointless to bring Abigail back unless there’s a real story for her – something other than just hanging out at home with Chad and the kids.
Chad warned that the Abigail they knew and loved might not come back to them, so maybe Abby will indeed feel different when she returns. Even if Chad can fight Abigail on this divorce for a while, Abby may struggle to be the woman Chad fell in love with.
If Abigail and Chad split up, perhaps Days of Our Lives could revisit the idea of Chad and Ciara. Back when Vivian Jovanni was in the role, Ciara crushed on Chad hard and left Theo Carver (Kyler Pettis) feeling rejected.
Chad was struggling with grief over Abigail’s presumed death at the time, so Ciara moved in the DiMera mansion and pitched in with Thomas DiMera (Cary Christopher).
Although Chad didn’t return Ciara’s feelings back then, things could be different this time around. Victoria Konefal took over the role and that could change the chemistry Ciara might have with Chad. Ciara seemed too young for Chad once upon a time, but she’s matured in many ways and has found love with Ben – who used to be Chad’s romantic rival for Abigail.
