Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) has more relationship struggles in his future. DOOL viewers know Chad’s been heartbroken over Abigail DiMera’s (Kate Mansi) mental state. After Abigail was drugged, it altered the chemistry of her brain and forced her to enter a treatment facility in Florida.
Chad recently returned for Gabi Hernandez DiMera’s (Camila Banus) trial in hopes that justice would be served. However, Gabi got off the hook and Chad was forced to admit maybe he just wanted Gabi to be guilty.
Chad’s worried that Stefano DiMera (Joseph Mascolo) may have had someone carry out his twisted drugging orders, so he’s got plenty of reasons to be down in the dumps.
There’s someone else in town who’ll be in a similar boat – and her name’s Gwen (Emily O’Brien). Days of Our Lives spoilers say Chad will meet Gwen during the week of July 6-10, so they should introduce themselves after they cross paths at Julie’s Place. Now’s the time to get to know each other a bit.
Gwen’s hopeful that Jake Lambert (Brandon Barash) will forget about Gabi and focus on who he is now – and that’s Jake. Nevertheless, Jake can’t just ignore those DNA results. Gwen will be nervous knowing Jake could get his Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) memories back at some point.
The idea of Jake embracing his old life as Stefan will be hard to accept. Gwen definitely won’t want Jake aka Stefan back with Gabi! As Gwen frets over that possibility, Chad may chime in with his own thoughts. Days viewers know Chad’s been in a foul mood lately, so he may not get along with Gwen at first.
That’s especially true since Gwen loves Jake, who was just proven to be Stefan. Since Chad hates Stefan’s guts, he may trash Jake and rile Gwen up in the process. Of course, Chad might argue that they’re actually on the same side – at least in a way. Chad may contend that he didn’t want Jake to be a match for Stefan either.
This DNA proof complicates things for Chad at DiMera Enterprises and stirs up a lot of old anger over everything that happened with Abigail. Gwen might understand that on some level, so we’ll see if they continue to clash or perhaps grow intrigued by each other.
Regardless, Days of Our Lives spoilers say Gwen and Chad will become part of a love quad with Abigail and Jake aka Stefan. That means Chad and Gwen have romantic potential, so sparks could fly down the road.
