Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Charlie Tampers with DNA Test Results – Offers Fake Evidence of Tripp’s Fatherhood, Hides Own Guilt?

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that after the blackout and convict mayhem winds down, DOOL will get back to their main stories. Of course, perhaps the biggest story on Days right now involves Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams) and whether he’s actually guilty.

The show is certainly doing everything they can to make it seem like Tripp raped Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold).

Tripp recently changed his story and admitted Allie got undressed before he put her to bed. That was naturally a concerning new detail for Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols).

Tripp also refused to get on board with a DNA test, which was a giant warning sign. He doesn’t want the one thing that could prove his innocence!

Days is doing everything possible to convince viewers that Tripp belongs behind bars, but that’s a soapy clue that Tripp isn’t the real culprit here. The show almost always goes for a big twist at the end, so they probably won’t do something as expected as having Tripp look guilty and then actually be guilty.

With all that in mind, what’s next in this Henry Horton (Jayna and Kinsley Fox) father storyline? There are some good reasons to believe the DNA test will be tampered with since a) DNA tests are almost always tampered with in Salem and b) it wouldn’t make sense if Tripp was cleared right now.

If Tripp is innocent like we think, then there’s no reason to reveal that so soon. Things should get worse for Tripp before they get better. How horrified will Tripp be if a test run behind his back proves his guilt? More importantly, how might that happen if Tripp is innocent?

Allie’s reaction to Kayla Brady’s (Mary Beth Evans) DNA test news was intriguing. Allie was surprised that Tripp agreed to the test – though Days viewers know he didn’t really agree. That misunderstanding could lead to info about this test landing in the wrong hands.

Allie has already been confiding in Claire Brady (Isabel Durant), who confided in Charlie Dale (Mike C. Manning). There’s no reason for Days of Our Lives to ditch that trend, so Allie may confide in Claire once again – and once again have the latest rape case developments spread to Charlie.

It’s kind of bizarre that Claire’s blabbing Allie’s business to a guy she barely knows, but that just shows it’s likely a plot point. Claire already filled Charlie in on the rape accusations Tripp’s facing – and a feud was established between Charlie and Tripp.

Prior to Allie’s disturbing updates, Claire actually thought she might get back together with Tripp. After Claire mentioned that and insisted it wasn’t going to happen now, Charlie was selfishly glad since he still had a shot.

DOOL may be setting up this idea that Charlie’s shot with Claire hinges on Tripp’s guilt.

That’s one more motive for Charlie to find out about the DNA test and tamper with it. The first one may be that Charlie is actually guilty – and he very well could be if he took a trip to London last Christmas.

Charlie has the perfect person to pin the crime on since everyone except Steve thinks Tripp is guilty anyway. The stakes are even higher since Charlie is falling for Claire.

Allie doesn’t know this DNA test is supposed to be a secret, so she may bring Claire up to speed and leave the door open for Claire to tell Charlie.

Will Charlie sneak in the lab or perhaps hack the system? In a leaked audition, the character who turned out to be Charlie was good with computers, so that’s something to remember here. Charlie may have means, motive and opportunity soon enough.

Days of Our Lives spoilers hint that the DNA results are probably going to be tampered with, so Charlie seems like the most logical suspect. CDL’s where you want to be for scorching Days of Our Lives spoilers, updates and news, so be sure to stop by often!
