Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) and Belle Black (Martha Madison) will deliver exciting news to Claire Brady (Olivia Rose Keegan). Once everything’s squared away and Marlena Evans’ (Deidre Hall) approval is official, Claire’s release will be set in motion. She’ll be thrilled when Belle and Shawn insist Claire can come home soon.
Of course, there’ll be some bickering over where that home should be! However, Claire has a way of talking people into things, so she’ll convince Shawn and Belle that Salem’s where she belongs. Claire will be living with Marlena instead of going back to Hong Kong with her parents, but Belle and Shawn will stay close for now.
Over with Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso), she’ll deliver the same release news to Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal). As you can imagine, Ciara won’t be as excited as Claire! In fact, Ciara will be quite unsettled about Claire the fire-starting attempted murderer being let loose.
However, Days of Our Lives spoilers say Hope will work to reassure her nervous daughter. Although Hope will get why Ciara’s uneasy, she’ll probably point out that Marlena is an excellent mental health professional. Hope may argue that Marlena would’ve have supported Claire’s release if she was still a threat to Ciara or anyone else.
Marlena also approved Ben Weston’s (Robert Scott Wilson) release, which obviously worked out well for Ciara. If Marlena hadn’t given Ben a chance to prove himself out in society again, he wouldn’t be in a loving relationship with Ciara right now.
Ben and Ciara are gearing up for their nuptials, but that wouldn’t have been possible without Ben’s rehabilitation and Marlena’s support.
Ciara could bring up Ben’s unhinged sister, Jordan Ridgeway (Chrishell Stause), as proof that doctors can be fooled. Jordan also tried to kill Ciara, so she’ll probably fear Claire will get out on a deadly mission of her own.
Ciara has enough on her plate with all the wedding planning anyway, so she’ll be wary of Claire complicating things.
All of this is bit of a rewrite since Ciara shared some tender moments with her former bestie before Claire was admitted to Bayview. Ciara didn’t know if they could ever get back to where they were before, but she hoped they could try someday. Claire liked that idea along with Ciara’s suggestion of visiting her.
Soon after Claire got settled, Ciara asked Hope if Claire was able to receive visitors yet. Now Claire’s been telling Marlena that Ciara never came to visit her, so Days clearly changed directions just so they could have some DOOL summer drama.
There’ll indeed be some drama when Ciara finally comes face to face with Claire again. It’s safe to say there’ll be some tension on Ciara’s end. Ciara may push Claire to head back to Hong Kong with Shawn and Belle. She might suggest she’s glad if Claire’s truly well, but peace may not be something Ciara’s on board with.
Claire’s bound to make an emotional speech about showing Ciara she’s changed. Unfortunately, Claire’s “Cin” wedding obsession will prove rather disturbing to Ciara. Since Claire isn’t at the ceremony in DOOL’s summer promo, Ciara may declare the wedding a Claire-free space!
