Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that the details of Ciara Weston’s (Victoria Konefal) exit are becoming more complicated, but the mystery should be intriguing. Here’s what we know so far.
After a horrific showdown with Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) at Paige Larson’s (True O’Brien) old dorm room, Ciara will vanish. Ben won’t be able to pull up all his memories of their final faceoff.
DOOL fans can expect Ben to fear that he actually killed Ciara, though there’ll be no corpse in the shower. There’s a good reason for that, but we’ll talk about that in a second.
First, we should note what Soap Opera Digest confirms in their latest issue. On their “who’s going” list, they include Victoria Konefal and specify that “Ciara disappears on August 26 after an encounter with Ben.”
However, Ciara is actually listed in new Days spoilers for the week of August 31-September 4. On September 3, Vincent (Michael Teh) makes a stunning admission to Ciara.
That means one of two things: Either SOD jumped the gun and confirmed wrong information OR we won’t actually see Ciara on screen when Vincent makes this admission.
It’d be easy for DOOL to show the back of Ciara’s head or even just have Vincent call her by name without viewers seeing her. They might use a bit of trickery to make it seem like Ciara’s there. Then again, it’s possible SOD was just off by a few days on their exit confirmation.
Regardless, these new Days of Our Lives spoilers tell us that Vincent will apparently be holding Ciara captive. Vincent may suggest that since Ben’s love was so strong, he had no choice but to kidnap her and let Ben believe she was dead.
However, none of that seems like something Vincent would have to confess. If Ciara’s being held hostage somewhere – and it looks like that’s what’s happening here – Vincent won’t have to admit that. Ciara’s restraints will tell her without Vincent ever opening his mouth.
As for the part about Ben thinking she’s dead, that seems like a conclusion Ciara could draw on her own, too. After Ben tries to strangle her, it should become crystal clear to Ciara that it was part of Eve and Vincent’s plan. Ciara should understand that if she was kidnapped, Ben probably thinks he murdered her.
So what will Vincent confess? Since Vincent is Dr. Wilhelm Rolf’s (William Utay) protégé, Days might tie this in with another storyline. Vincent might suggest this isn’t the first time he’s let someone grieve for a Salemite that wasn’t truly dead.
Remember how Dr. Rolf hinted that although he didn’t bring back Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash), someone else might’ve? What better person to do that than Dr. Rolf’s protégé? Vincent might confess to Ciara that Stefan is actually alive. Stefan might even be at the same location!
