Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) and Claire Brady (Isabel Durant) will have a reason to bond. Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal) will seemingly meet a grim fate after she’s blown up by Vincent Belman (Michael Teh).
Although Ben will deal with doubts about whether Ciara lived or died, he’ll have to carry on without her.
It may be a situation where Ben knows deep in his heart that Ciara’s still alive, but he brushes it off as wishful thinking. Although Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso) will also have doubts about Ciara’s death, will Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) feel the same way?
Perhaps Marlena will believe Hope’s just desperate to keep hope alive. Marlena might worry Ben will have that same hope and set himself up for trouble.
Due to Ben’s fragile mental state, Marlena may encourage him to accept Ciara’s death. Claire values Marlena’s advice and might agree with her. Regardless, Claire will form a connection with Ben in the coming months. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Ben and Claire will become friends with the potential for more!
Days viewers have watched Claire and Ben work through their issues, so that gives them somewhat of a clean slate going into this. Ben and Claire can’t erase the past, but they can keep moving forward. Of course, moving forward without Ciara will be awfully tough. That goes for both Claire and Ben since they’re both losing someone they care about.
Here’s what Days Head Writer Ron Carlivati had to say about Ben in a recent interview with Soap Opera Digest. “He has a friendship that will sort of grow with Claire,” Carlivati promised. “They’re both missing Ciara so they have something in common, so that will pull him a bit into her story.”
This is just a friendship for now, but what might happen between Ben and Claire down the road? Could missing Ciara pull them close enough to be more than just distraught pals? DOOL fans know Ciara will always be Ben’s true love, but this would be a way to make things messy in the aftermath of Ciara’s “death.”
