Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Claire Brady (Olivia Rose Keegan) will run into more trouble soon enough. DOOL fans know Claire was adamant about doing all the right things at Bayview. Claire’s been a model patient, so she doesn’t know what more she could possibly do to prove herself. If reformed serial killer Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) deserves his freedom, so does Claire.
That’s exactly the argument Claire brought up in her conversation with Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall), which ended with Marlena agreeing to talk to the appropriate people. Although Marlena warned Claire nothing was guaranteed, Days of Our Lives spoilers say Claire will indeed be released from Bayview during the week of June 8-12.
Claire seemed a bit mischievous after Marlena left, but that’s likely a case of misdirection. Days spoilers insist that Claire truly wants to make amends with Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal).
After all, Claire is sick and tired of being locked up in that place. The last thing Claire wants to do is blow her chance at freedom, but that doesn’t mean Claire’s release will go as planned.
Sadly, this is just a short-term return and may result in Claire being placed back at Bayview. Claire probably won’t be responsible for the “Cin” wedding chaos ahead, but she could go down for it anyway.
Is this really the route DOOL should be taking with Claire? Keegan is such a talented performer, so it’s a shame she doesn’t have a more permanent spot on the Days of Our Lives cast.
Claire is also a charming, intriguing character. In Claire’s first scenes back with Marlena, she was a fun breath of fresh air. It’s so nice to see “Claire Bear” back onscreen with that little twinkle in her eye.
Claire is both sweet and spicy, which creates a great combo for Days to work with. She deserves to stick around as a mild schemer without crossing over into full-blown crazy territory.
Claire’s likely going to be wrongfully accused this time around, which isn’t ideal either. Although that should provide some interesting drama, Claire may lose her opportunity for happiness. Since Claire has genuinely been rehabilitated according to Days spoilers, she’s earned her shot at a brighter future.
