Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that there’s been a ton of comings and goings news lately, so now’s a good time to make sure you’re in the loop on all the returns and exits. We’ve got the scoop on what you can expect – starting the week of June 22-26 and beyond. There’ll be some major casting shakeups over the next couple months, so here’s what you need to know.
For starters, the week ahead will bring several returns. Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) will head back to Salem as Gabi Hernandez DiMera’s (Camila Banus) trial draws near.
Stacy Haiduk will also reprise her role as Kristen DiMera, who’ll take a huge gamble by showing up in Salem to visit Lani Price (Sal Stowers). Kristen will want to make sure Lani feels supported before her wedding ceremony.
Speaking of that wedding ceremony, Valerie Grant (Vanessa Williams) and Tamara Price (Marilyn McCoo) will watch Lani and Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) try this whole marriage thing again! Gabi forced Lani to dump Eli at the altar the last time “Elani” attempted to tie the knot, but they’ll truly seal the deal this time around.
Billy Davis Jr. is McCoo’s real-life husband and will reprise the role of Eli’s former FBI mentor, who’s also named Billy. Days fans can expect the pair to pop up on June 29 as part of the pre-wedding festivities. Valerie will also share some special moments with her son as Eli prepares to marry the love of his life.
Next, Eve Donovan (Kassie DePaiva) and Vivian Alamain (Louise Sorel) will resurface by around early July. Later this summer, Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson) will return to Salem followed by Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) down the road.
We can’t forget about Sami Brady’s (Alison Sweeney) upcoming return stint either. Sami will make quite a splash at Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) and Nicole Walker’s (Arianne Zucker) upcoming wedding. Bonnie Lockhart will also resurface as Judi Evans makes a return of her own this summer – although Evans could end up playing Adrienne Kiriakis, too.
Plus, Marci Miller will reprise the role of Abigail DiMera, so you can look forward to Abigail’s comeback. There’s also Eduardo Hernandez (A Martinez), who’s been buzzed about as a summer return. Days of Our Lives spoilers suggest there’ll be plenty of Hernandez family drama!
Of course, there are some important departures to discuss, too. Will Horton (Chandler Massey), Sonny Kiriakis (Freddie Smith) and Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) are all set to exit the show around the end of August.
Some preemptions have bumped up their final airdates, so keep that in mind. Strong buzz remains about Gabi heading off canvas as well, so we’ll see how that plays out.
It looks like August will also conclude Olivia Rose Keegan’s latest run as Claire Brady, but some other DOOL performers are sticking around. Gwen (Emily O’Brien) and Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) aren’t going anywhere anytime soon based on everything we know so far.
They were seemingly still filming when Days halted production.
